I'm wondering, am I technically still in this week? The second email from Ford said I was scheduled for the week of 1/10/22.

But the next email that I got on the 19th said that it was built and they were estimating delivery between 1/19 and 1/25.

Now when the tracker did start working it does say built on the 18th. But under vehicle details I have slipped to estimated delivery of 1/29. So maybe that's my problem. I'm in the wrong week.

Either way the fine print on the financing rates in the build and price says they expire on the 31st. Hope for the best but plan for the worse. I'm betting the rates aren't going to improve and who knows if they are even correct?

Anyone else hoping that when it comes time to trade or sell these trucks that the industry has straightened out and we can go back to impulse buying off the lot?

Well, few things - it looks like the tracker is finally "working" and I can see images of my truck - so there is that and I attached it because why not.

The next is - through my job some people I know have access to information regarding production. (We handled all the Ford GT program including deliveries and all the events surrounding all new F-150 launches since 2014 as well as the new Bronco - including getting pre-production models. We work closely with Ford a lot and yes, I sign a lot of NDAs.) So, with that I reached out and got similar information that others got. My truck is offsite on a "Micro Chip At Plant On Hold" - I was also told the "End Date" is generally the projection of when the vehicle will be done - so as it stands it looks like I have another month to wait until my truck is even done.

As a note - I too have the stop/start removal, since it came as part of the 3.5 Powerboost. Not sure if that matters, but figured I'd add it.

Hi Guys,
I just checked with my dealer and my Tremor is now "Micro-Chip on Hold" with a status of Jan 20-26th. So I guess we just sit now and hope that some chips come in this week.

That's why I put the ending on that one post about hoping this all straightens out so I can go back to buying off the lot and not know or know how they get there.

Will probably be a different dealer next time. This one is so busy they don't have to do anything to keep you happy, just offer a better price than everyone else in a 4 hour radius.

I keep telling myself that too. It's not that far and they are waiting for a load to fill up the transport. Yes that's my story/hope and I'm sticking with it! Except yours is going East and mine is going north. Mines a fairly simple build maybe it's the chip hold ones that are slowing us up. What is yours?

Shouldn't your location say western australia or something? How do you go from built on 1/20 shipped on 1/20 and then est arrival of 3/5? Someone pushing it along on it's own wheels for the month of february?

As I understand it KC gets the XL / XLT builds DRB gets the higher end builds. So that explains the KC plant builds moving and the DRB builds sitting waiting on chips.

That's not correct. My XLT was built in Dearborn. But it is a Power Boost. It's my understanding that all electrified trucks are made in Dearborn.
