It is an option during ordering, any engine can have it. You can also always have a dealer/shop install one at anytime.
Here is the OEM install location on the 3.5L
Here is what the F150 owners manual says about it...
The heater uses 0.4 to 1.0 kilowatt-hours of energy per hour of use. The system does not have a thermostat. It achieves maximum temperature after approximately three hours of operation. Using the engine block heater longer than three hours...
Huh, I guess I've been fortunate to not hear the accounts of this 'many'....
I plug my in when I get home for the evening, engine still hot, and leave it plugged in all night. Seems to keep engine coolant at around 70deg by the time I'm leaving in the morning. Also, I park inside a garage.
I...
? OMG that would be terrifying!
I wonder if it just assumes every black text on white background on a squareish size = speed limit..
I've only ever had mine be annoying and slow me down when not necessary.
Could it be the grill mounted camera and not the windshield mounted camera?....
Sorry I am of no help except to question which camera is "front" since they both are up front.
I've never noticed mine 'read' a sign wrong, but there are several spots along Hyw 60 in MN, where the road used to be 2-lane and 60mph, and has since been widened to 4-lane 65 mph, but my truck will slow to 60mph, and display the 60mph sign on the speed-o even though that road is 65mph now...
It will drop it 1 1/4 to 1 1/2, if you remove the rear spacer blocks under the leaf springs. You will need to either get shorter U-bolts or you will need a spacer between the nut and bottom plate, there are not enough threads on the OE U-bolts to accommodate the removal of those spacer blocks.
huh, glad it hasn't happend to me....yet.
Looking at the parts on their parts.ford website there are definatly some things it could get looped around.
Best advice I can give is *if the cover will still move; get it so it is 1/2 way maybe 3/4 open, then grab both sides of your cable, push in...
The external sensor is Yaw sensor, to sense if the trailer is starting to sway back and forth, then it will apply brakes and crazy computer shit to correct for it.
The Stickers and Camera are for the trailer backup function.
And of course the lock tumbler for the spare tire access.
Here is...
Yeah, likely this is the problem. Smaller laptop chargers run maybe 130-150 watts, the bigger chargers can run 420+ watts (but this is at max output...)
120v x 3.5A = 420watts
You could get a smaller charger and tell your wife to dim her display, and only run programs she absolutely must...
Looks like it would be the wiring for the ProTrailer/yaw sensor (plug below the 7-pin) on at least all 2021's, may have been deleted on 22-23, also if you don't have the ProTrailer backup assist you definatly didn't get this.
Not sure if it is replaced with a 4-pin trailer connector on trucks...
Never seen this issue, but also your description of what is going on doesn't help...if your cuts out = misfire, I would check the coil connectors make sure they are all seated and latched, if that checks out I'd pull the spark plugs, check the gap on the plug. If everything looks good, might...
based on the part number on the bottom of the leaf, I'd say those are the original leaf springs. They just need to be moved to the top side of the axle, not underneath it.
So the parts you are missing would be the top and bottom clamp plates that go around the leafs.
go to parts.ford.com and...
It's not that different...at 6000 miles the F150 (at the same % per mile that it's currently at) will be at 25% oil life. Also I'm not sure what they all put into that 'calculation' but the Explorer sitting more, could effect it...I think if you switch vehicle use with each other, you'd probably...
