Yes that is just a 'filler' clip to be used for coiling up your USB cord and hanging it there. For trucks that don't have any accessory power 400W, etc...
Oh, it stopped working while driving...that is probably a bigger issue...My issues have only ever been at startup, and once I've restarted they haven't returned.
Before dealing with the shop, I would just check the electrical connections under the hood, verify they are all seated, latched...
Speaking from 'issues' of a 2021, so may not be the same...but, Ford's software basically sux. Your post was Saturday, so I would imagine by now the truck has been off for more than 30 min, and restarted. And the issue persists?
I have had many of issues, one including HVAC not working, that...
I went to re-enable the fake engine noise in my 21 ecoboost, and apparently I didn't save the ACM as-built, or overwrote the original, either way. Would anyone have any idea what it could have been, or have any definitions of what these mean....
2021 Lariat 502A, optioned out with nearly...
Yeah that is tricky part about ForScan, it shows you everything Sync4 has, not just what your specific vehicle/software has or can do. Like the ceramic brake wear indicator, is likely from a Mustang GT500 or something, and the digital tach you are seeing could also be mustang specific, or maybe...
157" Wheel Base for the WIN! They are certainly less common, but there are a lot of them in Minnesota. The one benefit Canada gets, is apparently in Canada you can get the BAP (Black Appearance Package) on a 6.5' box truck, in the USA you are forced to the 5.5' box to get the BAP.
Nice, congrats. The biggest limiter you're going to have with the powerboost is your payload.
My Non-Powerboost 2021 157 inch 3.55 max tow is at 1,696 lbs. Let us know what you have on this yellow sticker when you get the truck!
You could pop the interior panel off and just see for yourself if there is any thing they obviously forgot to attach...There are a lot of push/pull cables, wire harness', in there and anything left loose could cause a rattle.
There is 3-4 screws and bunch of snap clips that hold the panel on...
ok, so that is indicated by the brown/orange dot, then up in upper left it is item 8475A
Both my 2021 Lariat and a 2022 Platinum I found online have the same part number for that item ML3Z8475D, but each has a different usages date range...so I would just start trimming, Not sure what hell ford...
Wow that is neat.
Have you ever waxed your truck? It could be lack of a protective film.
It could also be the quality of finish on the clear coat, depending on product used, and application process.
Best guess, give it a good wash. Clay Bar the door (possibly the entire truck) and reapply your...
You can't just buy lug nuts for what the wheels came off of....
You need to know what your vehicle has for studs (M14 x 1.5 threads on 2021+ F150)
You need to know what the wheels your bolting on have for lug seat style.
You can get almost any combination of threads and seat styles.
I'll get the message even when not using cruise, if the road is straight enough that you are not making slight adjustments in the steering wheel, it will go off. Just give the wheel a little turn and it goes away.
There are no sensors in the steering wheel to know that you are touching it, you...
Oh, no my response was just a general statement for your situation, I only 'replied' to your last post so you got a notification of my reply...it wasn't directed at your statement.
Hummm...do you have the Max Tow package? you may want to remove the rear wheel and see if your axle bolt hasn't sheared off....
The only other thing I would suggest is jacking the truck up From the body somewhere, just to take weight off the rear axle, but leaving the tires on the ground, then...
Nope, solid as it was before I did it....
Did you get the U-bolts torqued up? If you didn't buy the 2wd U-bolts you'll need to use some spacers for the nuts, or you could run out of threads...and it would 'be torqued' but not actually tight...if you follow what I'm saying..
Tighten the U-bolt...
The window sticker is ready BEFORE the build starts. The window sticker is ready as soon as all the parts are ready for your build, basically the window sticker is published and your vehicle goes into the build schedule at the same time. If Ford or your dealer have not provided your VIN number...
I used a wood chisel and made a groove in the edge of the box and lid for the wire to exit. My wire was only 22awg, so at first I didn’t do anything but that fits really tight so it smashed the heck out of the wire.
Just FYI, you're 'too bad, not OEM' is a true statement. Anything you add/change will not be covered under your bumper to bumper warranty. If you remove the factory installed shocks and install Bilstein or something, if the Bilstein shock blows out your warranty will not cover that. Unless, you...
