I have a 24 PB. Ever since I’ve owned it it’s been in the shop every month.

had an issue with the the air vent not opening or closing correctly the day I drove it off the lot. Took 3 months for the dealer to fix

I have an issue when driving 80+mph the whole truck shakes slightly.

The transmission drives rough. It’s a slightly hard shift. It’s not smooth shifting power.

pro power onboard generator has been replaced.

Now it has a coolant leak.

Why would I keep this truck and spend my life with it at the shop? Would anyone recommend a ram?

Lots of us love our trucks, but sounds like you got a bit of a dud.

1) make them buy it back if you can (might have to be voluntary buy-back by the dealer -- lemon law in MA requires "a substantial defect the manufacturer is unable to repair" so might be hard to meet that depending on your facts)

2) then buy whatever you want (maybe Ram dealer will give you a good trade?)

But any manufacturer can produce a dud. Grass isn't always greener etc.
Good luck

I’ve driven a 24 Ram with a v6
Rode nice
Transmission was VERY smooth
Handling was smooth and predictable

But…..it’s a Dodge
The interior dash layout sucks
The trans shot knob is atrocious
Seats are sub par

There may soon be a really nice, well appointed 2025 ram with only 1100 miles for sale in or near Humboldt, IA. Just gotta get the lemon law case I have on it finished and ram will have to buy it back. It's a black laramie and it's NICE. They might even be able to fix it by now, I haven't had them try to fix the misfires and stalling out problem in many months. My point is, your ford is apparently a lemon. All manufacturers make them. Your chance of getting a lemon from ram is at least as high as your chance of getting another lemon from ford, or gm. As a side note, the front end of the half ton gm's is ugly enough to scare the green flies off shit. At least the ford and ram won't scare children and old people just driving down the street. Certainly, get rid of your current truck-nobody could blame you for that. Seriously investigate your state's lemon law, it will likely get you back every penny you paid if your case meets the standards.

Sounds like you might be unlucky with that individual truck more than the model. I don’t understand the need to change when that happens when statistically they’re reliable.

You can get another of the same exact truck and be happy

If I were to sell my truck today, would get a Ram. The interior is nicer, and quieter IMHO. The springs front and rear makes for a nice drive. The 8 speed is far superior to the 10 speed, no matter how many "enhancements".

FWIW the 2027 Silverado with the new v8 is the truck that may pry me out of this f150.

A slight vibration at 80+ is likely tire balance and easily rectified.

A slightly hard shift. Resetting the adaptive learning tables and letting the transmission learn how you would like it to shift is easy enough.

Seems you've had more issues than most of us have had. I understand that you are less than thrilled. However, 40% of the reasons you're ready to ditch the truck are trivial and likely easily remedied. Is 80+ speed automatic reckless driving in Mass like it is in Va? You can feel it shift, it's a truck. Oh the horror.

I'd recommend anything other than Ford, but that's just me. Very very similar experience, though I hope your list of problems doesn't grow as much as mine did.

Buddy just bought a new Ram. 4 days in brake booster died. They couldn't find one and didn't know when they could so they took his truck back and gave him a new one so he wouldn't claim lemon law on it. Colorado. First day he had it check engine and other lights came on and they couldn't figure out why. I think they all are overengineered. My 22 f150 has been in the shop 9 weeks since May after being perfect for 24 months. Low battery caused so kinda of issues, then it took them 5 weeks to get it to take the rear camera recall update. For have me an extended warranty for 3 years and I'm keeping it until that's almost out or it goes back to the dealer for another problem. The dealers are really in over their heads on these trucks.

I think this is exactly right for so many issues on the forum.

I had a 2023 Lariat powerboost that was a complete lemon, in Alberta we don't have a lemon law as per say. We have arbitration. To be frank in just went back and forth with Ford and got $10,000 trade assist, that was enough right to the penny to make up for any short fall from the 2023 to the 2025, now the 2025 Powerboost is a King Ranch and it's been perfect, I had an few little warranty chains but nothi

Yeah they had to keep contacting Ford engineering. The dealers don't have the technician knowledge or the access to tech that they need to diagnose. They blamed my low battery problems on diodes I put in for flat towing, which was total crap. Charged me $400 to remove them! I had to pay or they were going to refuse warranty. It was a mess. E trailer has done thousands of trucks the same way I did mine but the dealer wouldn't listen. So I cut my losses and learned a lesson.

My F-150 is the best truck I've ever owned.

Sounds like you got a lemon and work with a shitty dealer.

Lemon it and get a non Powerboost.

Stellantis makes pure garbage.

I can't trust the GM V8s anymore.

Tundras are having so many problems.
