Owning a Powerboost AND a Class C is a unique conundrum. 😁

Ford needs to make Powerboost style PPOB option available on the 7.3. Even without the electric drivetrain "Hybrid" function.

Every Class C with the 7.3 would have a native HV battery, a BISG for charging, and a water cooled inverter.

Exactly! You can’t put the Genie back in the bottle! It’s too elegant 😊

Meanwhile, little victories like this make my day. I was worried that the 3” sch 40 PVC drain pipe embedded in the driveway wouldn’t work without 15 adapters. Turns out it fits nicely 😊

We haven't found dump stations to be inconvenient to find (Most Loves, Pilots etc have them) and have a toter, if I have to use it but being able to properly dump at the usual parking spot, is a very nice thing.

I’m excited because I can train at home. Figure things out and become reasonably proficient, check for leaks and other issues etc., all from the comfort of my driveway. No one is waiting behind me at a dump station while I stare at the wet bay 😂

Yeah, I highly recommend driveway surfing. If a problem surfaces, or a routine needs refinement, no better place for it to happen.

We did 2 stints of 3 nights each.

Once when brand new in the heat, and again when temps were to be in the upper 20s but actually hit high teens.

Wanted to know what to expect from the HVAC and plumbing systems and know if a Plan B needed to be formed.

That’s great advice! Thank you, Dave

Just for grins, have your fridge on, somewhere in the middle of the settings, (pre cooled is fine) find the posted quiet hrs. for FL state parks, unplug then and experience what that would be.

My guess is by morning, you'll see for yourself, why LA batts just won't do. Especially if the furnace runs much and why you'll want an inverter.

The RV I tow the most often is never not powered up. I don't have the HVAC necessarily keeping it perfect, but I do keep the ice cream frozen.

I have 3 sceptic systems on the property. One is dedicated to RV's. So if we did a beach weekend, I can tow straight home without finding a dump station.

That driveway opening is perfect!

Perhaps I’ll beg for forgiveness at 48 dB(A) 😉

Yeah I have a love hate relationship with our absorption propane fridge. I love that it takes VERY little DC power to run, but hate that I can't run it while driving. It's not technically illegal to run it while driving however you can't pull into a gas station and most tunnels require the propane to be turned off. I also have concerns about road debris ripping the line. The other complaint with them is they're pretty terrible at cooling things down. They keep things cold well enough, but struggle to cool things down. Things like making ice takes 4-6 hours. Putting leftovers in the fridge? Put them in and don't open the fridge until morning.

We mostly park camp so a 12v compressor fridge would be amazing for us, but not worth the cost to replace a perfectly working fridge.

Yeah, we've had both kinds. Class B had an absorption fridge. A long way from coolers but the performance of the 12V in this TT is a whole different deal. More or less, the same performance as 120V. Set it n fugget it. Lots more useable space for the footprint, a meaningfully sized freezer that actually works and no mud dobbers, or spiders, messing up the burner.

You do have to feed em though. I've seen something in the neighborhood of 80ahs per day but never checked myself.

Here’s a screenshot of my new Watchdog with the AC running. Inrush was 25A before settling down.
