I agree - rattles are NOT welcomed! Between the shop rags and work gloves, everything stays rattle-free.

A squeezed-flat partially used roll of paper towels.

Nothing goes in door pockets that can rattle, so mostly they're empty.
Thank you so much for this info! If you have time for these 2 quick follow-up questions:

1. Are the paper towels used so frequently that they're best kept in the door? Or would the backdoor, center console, glove box etc. also work for you?

2. Rattling is a big issue for you?

You have bear problems in Missouri?

Honestly I don't keep anything in mine either. I used to but the rattles drove me nuts so I stopped. I did take a look at the door organizer and it does look nice and can see how many who do keep stuff in the door pockets might like this.
Thanks so much for this information. I hate rattles also, but didn't realize how many of y'all hate it too I just thought I was anal haha that's why I made it out of foam instead of plastic, so that things wouldn't rattle, and the pockets keep things from hitting against each other, (which also creates rattles).

A few black bears; especially out in the woods of the Ozarks. Bear spray can also be used on 2-legged animals... ;)
Thanks so much for this info... HUGELY helpful, I'll make sure the drink pockets can fit the popular versions of bear mase.

Yep, I keep absolutely nothing in there.
This is hugely helpful; is there any way you could tell me the pain points that keep you from putting stuff in there? It gets lost? It rattles? Info like this is enormously helpful bro

Nothing. I used to toss my water bottle in it driving to work because the F150 has small cup holders. My new bottle doesn't fit the cup holders that well either but fits enough I can put it there.
Thanks so much for this, what brand/size of water bottle do you use? Does it fit in the front-most cupholder?

Actually, I never think of it. If I did, then I think rattling would get on my nerves.

1. For me they're often handy, the space is available, so that's where they go. YMMV, no worries!

2. Not with no loose 'hard' stuff in the door pockets.

None of this is rocket science / brain surgery.

25'tape, 50' tape, flashlight, small mirror (better than a flashlight in some cases),

Pens, small note pad, lock back knife, lighter, tick and chigger spray.

Rattles, don't bother me as much, so long as it is infrequent and I know its that stuff, rather than the truck.

My 26oz Yeti Rambler fits about half way in the cup holder. I had a 32oz RTIC water bottle before this and I would lay it flat-ish in the door because it wouldn't fit any cupholder. My wife's Santa Fe has bigger cup holders.

How about a moleskin or alcantara-type kit that can be used to line the door pocket, which would help to cut down on certain types of rattles? Our German cars come with this and it's nice.
