I was all in on Antimatter Blue, but I was surprised to see how "black" it can look in lower light situations.
I bought a Tremor in AMB. Frankly, I think that is the best color for a Tremor. Hands down as the blue/orange color combo really works for me (OMMV). But as you say, it often looks black. It's only in the bright sun where the AMB truly shines and struts its stuff.

So if I hadn't gotten a Tremor, it would have been the Carbonized Gray. Hands down.

2022 F-150 XLT RCSB w/Baja Tan interior! 2024 MB CLE 300 2 door coupe
One of my other cars is a Le Mans Blue Metallic which is just fantastic. Would be neat to have the blue truck parked next to it...
Our last Mercedes was Lunar Blue and it often looked like black. I loved it! When I decided I wanted a RCSB with XLT trim and Baja tan interior, pickins were slim! I eventually found one in Iconic Silver and love it. As you say, I later thought pairing the F-150 with a new Mercedes in Cirrus Silver would be kinda neat!

Antimatter blue is now an up charge of $395. I may have gone carbonized grey when I ordered mine, had it been $395 at the time.

I am getting close to placing an order for a new 4wd XL RCSB, but I am hung up on color selection. I was all in on Antimatter Blue, but I was surprised to see how "black" it can look in lower light situations. Local dealer had a couple crew cab trucks side by side (Agate Black and Antimatter Blue) and it was actually tough to tell which was which in certain angles.

If it were your choice, which would you choose between Antimatter Blue and Carbonized Gray? Poll attached!
My 24 Tremor is Antimatter B and it's really hard to keep clean. Really Hard !!!!

I have CG and son has AMB. Hands down he gets more compliments for the AMB color of his truck. However he also admits it’s much harder to keep clean than CG. The AMB also shows dirt and scratches in the clear coat much more.

AMB won't match my BMW blue, but I do like the idea of the two blues next to each other...

Thanks for the side by side! First time I've seen them together. I've seen both in person, but separate.

Both look great......

I'm a sucker for blue, and it matched my tanzanite F80 M3 pretty close since we're talking bimmers. Not a fan of the 50 shades of grey, white and black bland vehicles that dominate the roadways.

But everytime in the chikfila drive thru they write black ford truck

I vote carbonized if you're going to DD it and keep it outside, AMB if it's a garaged toy.
This. I have AMB. I've always said the best it looks is freshly washed or in the middle of a rain storm. I use mine as a daily driver, to/from work, and I frequent dirt/gravel roads. This wasn't and issue years back, but now with a load of kids, I don't have the time to wash and wax my truck all the time.
