I am getting close to placing an order for a new 4wd XL RCSB, but I am hung up on color selection. I was all in on Antimatter Blue, but I was surprised to see how "black" it can look in lower light situations. Local dealer had a couple crew cab trucks side by side (Agate Black and Antimatter Blue) and it was actually tough to tell which was which in certain angles.

If it were your choice, which would you choose between Antimatter Blue and Carbonized Gray? Poll attached!

I've seen them both in person......antimatter looks great. And I say that being a huge fan of grey.

Those are my 2 favorite colors but AMB is definitely my #1. I bought my truck from a dealership 3 hours away vs local because they had the only one in the state in that color that was configured the way I wanted.

Yes, it does look black a lot of the time and is just as hard to keep clean but when the light hits it just right I'm always glad I held out for the color.

I currently have Darkened Bronze Metallic, from Carbonized Grey on my previous truck. I have a love hate relationship with it... I made several misidentifications of my truck in parking lots because there are 50 shades of grey out there! Not a problem now since DBM was only used on F150s for one year. However I do love the color in direct sun but feel like it's too black in the shade. Still, having had both, I prefer the different color, even if you can only see it at certain angles.

I was a silver/white guy for many years and would alternate between the two. This time I decided on AMB. I am not disappointed. It’s an awesome color.

I have Antimatter Blue, and I really like it. As others have mentioned, I like that the color transitions between very dark blue to blue based on the light. With that said, everything I don't like about black applies to Antimatter Blue -- warmer in summer and shows dirt more.

One of our Land Cruisers is a metallic black (Midnight Black Metallic I think?). We are in a semi-rural area with our property only being accessed by a dirt/gravel road. Clean vehicles just don't seem to exist

I don't have to have a perfectly clean vehicle, but I also think the Carbonized Gray will hide it significantly better should AMB really act like a black. I just really like these darker blues. One of my other cars is a Le Mans Blue Metallic which is just fantastic. Would be neat to have the blue truck parked next to it...

Neither. A bit of advice, make sure you see the actual trucks in person, because I changed my mind a couple times relying on pictures on the Internet before I placed my order. Antimatter blue for example is way, way darker in person, and my last car was black so I nixed that.

Deepdown Tremor says AMB. So many compliments! But: keep it clean 😮 Mine is Ceramic coated!

My 25 Carbonized is awesome! It shows very little dirt and has a much tougher look at all times than my previous 23 Iconic Silver. My wife has a dark blue BMW that looks very black at times. It's a real PITA to keep clean and shows dirt way more than my carbon. Also, if you get a little paint chip, the primer color under the paint is very close to carbonized. That was a big problem on my iconic. Strongly suggest getting PPF on entire front of truck and mirrors. Take it straight from dealer to PPF. The paint on these trucks is super easy to chip.

Either way, keep us posted on what you decide and bring home 🫡

I struggled with these choices, when I ordered my 24 RCSB. My 19 RCSB was magnetic, similar to CG, and I liked it a lot. I decided to go different this time and chose AMB. I’m happy with my choice.
It is the darkest vehicle I’ve ever owned, but the wheels I had on my 19!look pretty good on it.

Hears one in Blue.

The blue is a great color but I went with grey and the blackout package. Coming from a black truck that was a PITA to maintain, I love the CG. I can go weeks without a wash and it looks clean whereas my black truck looked dirty in a hour after washing. This is purely a personal opinion but for me if I was building a street rig, I'd go blue. Mine is leveled with A/T tires so I like the grey for that setup. For me that just works better.

I really liked the Antimatter Blue, (When it was blue) but too many times, because of the sun or shade it looked black and I didn't like that color, plus I heard how it is harder to keep clean...granted to look clean
