Just FYI- I found that if you add the "compare" plugin to Notepad++ editor application you can verify changes to the .abt files that you save off in Forscan. Green + line items are "Changes" while -"Red/Pink" lines are before changes. Notepad++ is a free editor - just google it and install it, then go to Plugins Manager and click/get "Compare". Next open both files up and click on Plugins and choose compare.
Just thought I share with the group. This really helps to double check the changes you make in Forscan.
Here are the instructions for this:

Got the 2025 Platinum Plus programed tonight. 2 failures though I want to see if this group can help with.

Global Windows, down works great. Up does not work. I also don't have the Global Window toggle in the APIM menu.

Auto lock with feedback, works great, no feedback though.

Any help appreciated.

Make sure you have the latest Forscan version. If you updated Forscan then don't load from a saved profile, let it rescan the truck then try resetting the coding back to stock, reboot the modules and run through the code changes again and then reboot the associated modules.

Oh and looks like there's two sets of coding changes one for 21-25 and another for just 24-25's. Not sure which one you used but may try the other if the set you used didn't work correctly.

Is there any way to code it so the previous drive mode always starts on truck turn on? (eco mode etc.)

No. even though drive modes can be enabled or disabled (e.g. rock crawl), mode numbers are set. Normal (mode1) is the default and even if you disable it in FORScan, the ABS(?) forces it as default. That has been my experience. I disabled modes 1 and 2 (sport) to hopefully have the default as eco (mode3), but mode1 was forced by the truck.

There seem to be some settings to enable tow mode when a trailer is connected. The display has the toggle for defaulting for all and the ability to define it per trailer. I just haven’t figured out how to get it to work. I’ve only figured out how to enable the toggles under the trailer settings. Has anyone else figured out how to make it work?

Thanks, running the current version. Will try a module reset and then the longer process above, I did the shorter one below.

Problem solved!!! The window setting is under "Windows" in Vehicle Settings, just had to toggle windows up on. Also found that under "Locks" in vehicle settings you can toggle on and off audible feedback. Easy Peasy!!!

Yesterday, I went was able to get all of the software updates at the dealer related to the phone connection issues TSB. After getting the updates, I pulled the latest as-built data from Ford to compare to what they had before the updates. I noticed a curious value change in the APIM that doesn't show in the current sheet.

7D0-05-01 xx*x xxxx xx-- Changed from 0 to 1.

The only values shown in the spreadsheet are 0,4,8, and C. This means that the lowest bit is unused in the known settings. I'm assuming that this means the latest APIM is using that bit for a setting, but have no reference as to what it is. Since I have added the front sensors and CCM to my truck, I've added the adaptive cruise control features. So, instead of 8, I have updated to a 9 with the assumption that I'm keeping whatever that other bit is supposed to be set to. I only got the updates in last night, so I haven't had time to test anything yet.

Does anyone else have an idea of what a 1 would mean on that byte of the APIM as-built values?

In FORScan i disabled Auto start stop the easy way. As-built Body control module. Just changed it from enabled to disabled and cycled through and disconnected. Worked perfect and now it’s disabled.
But now the battery light stays on. I reset the BMS several times and still on. Ran FORScan again this morning and have no DTC faults.
So I enabled it back on and the battery light went away. Any suggestions on why the light is on when I disable the Start Stop and any way to clear it?
Thank you
