I love the features of the 7.3 Godzilla! The simplicity and bullet prove bottom end.
PLEASE FORD BUILD THIS ENGINE !!!!!
I am afraid the focus is on small displacement V6’s or even 4 cylinders like Chevy. ?
Take the poll if you would buy a 5 liter sized V8

The exact displacement is not important. I would like to see a small block V-8. (Naturally aspirated) Somewhere in the 5.0 range...

Personally, I'd like to see them take the new 7.3 Godzilla and tweak the camshaft to deliver better HP, giving up a bit of the Superduty torque. Then slap a Supercharger on it and we're good to run against pretty much anything.

I agree for a hot rod F-150 or larger.
For me a basic durable, reliable, engine that will last at least 250,000 miles without the complexity of an overhead cam and turbos. That’s ideal for me. I have a turbo V-6 now and love it but I don’t think this is my forever truck for long term.

I'm usually happy with 10 years and 125k miles. After that, I'll look for a good deal on a 2031 Raptor ;p

I own a 2011, I will be buying a 2021, and the one after that will be a 2031 (unless something catches my eye before then), keeping on a purchase schedule of every 10 years and roughly 125k miles.

2032-2033: 4th Raptor
2033: 7th Super Duty
