    I agree for a hot rod F-150 or larger. For me a basic durable, reliable, engine that will last at least 250,000 miles without the complexity of an overhead cam and turbos. That’s ideal for me. I have a turbo V-6 now and love it but I don’t think this is my forever truck for long term.

    The exact displacement is not important. I would like to see a small block V-8. (Naturally aspirated) Somewhere in the 5.0 range... David

    I love the features of the 7.3 Godzilla! The simplicity and bullet prove bottom end. PLEASE FORD BUILD THIS ENGINE !!!!! I am afraid the focus is on small displacement V6’s or even 4 cylinders like Chevy. ? Take the poll if you would buy a 5 liter sized V8 Blow this thread up and maybe ford...
