I read the Challenger and Charger are going all-electric very soon like in a year or two. Mustang is headed in that direction as well but I can't recall anything saying the 5.0 is dead.

It's a 2022 Ford Escort "e" at best.

...what an ugly POS disgrace to the Mustang name!

Some act like the 5.0 is only bought by old dogs who don’t trust turbos. The 14th Gen is my first truck after having multiple turbo sedans and I went with the 5.0 over the 3.5TT. Also the 5.0 was a big factor of why I chose to go with ford over other manufacturers. Getting rid of it would be a mistake.

I hope they keep this option for a long time. My 09 Lariat with the 5.4 liter has 244,000 miles. No way a turbo charged engine will last that long. At least not without a lot of money.
