(1) A naturally aspirated V6 engine choice (yes I miss the 3.3L workhorse that fit my limited power and mpg wants/needs).
(2) In the "maybe someday in next 4-5 years" category - a sub-$60k Lightning with ICE range-extender.
(3) In the "I'd really like it but will never happen" category - a RCSB with 36 gal. tank option.

You're not kidding about that last one, I was stopping fairly often to refill the gas tank of my '24 rcsb coming home with it this weekend. If I was a lot younger and tended to go longer between breaks it would bother me worse, but it would still be nice to have a bigger tank.

How far did you drive? I get about 330-360 miles a tank out of mine and that's mostly city driving.

Heated wiper park. I’m not sure if it’s the design of cowl/hood/windshield angle but I’ve never had a vehicle who’s wipers ice up as much as this truck.
My 2020 had this, they ditched it in later years for some reason. No idea why.

I’m tired of turning off the A/C in the dead of winter
I read this one a lot and thinking back, every vehicle I have had does this at least in the defrost setting. It's by design - not to cool the air but to take the humidity out of the cabin so the windows don't fog up. Not sure why it bothers people so much.

Because in other than the summer, but especially the winter, it's unpleasant to get hit with a blast of ultra-refreshing cold air first thing in the morning.
Maybe if the system were better designed to delay turning on the a/c defroster, maybe...but even still I'm okay with deciding for myself whether to turn it on or not.

Beyond the defroster business, the whole auto thing is just annoying. Not infrequently I'll be driving along fat, dumb and happy (well, fat and dumb anyway) and the system will decide I'm too warm and send me an unpleasant/unneeded stream of cool air, for no apparent reason.
Maybe I'd hate the lack of manual climate control less if auto worked better.
Still, it's a pickup truck; why can't I just twist the temp knob if I want the air coming out a little warmer/cooler?

Mine doesn't do any of that. It doesn't really output much of any air until the engine has warmed up.

A longer or adjustable delay, 0 to 10 seconds, as to when the Auto High Beams turn back on. I find that on some roads around me, where the high beams will turn on just as a car passes, but I can see another one coming. So my lights go LOW HIGH LOW in just a couple of seconds. I am for ever turning off that feature. I drove a GM on a long road trip, 950 miles, and the high beams seemed like there was a 5 second delay before they turned on high after a car passed.

100% agree. That is the one thing I wish my RCSB had.

Plug in hybrid with the 2.7L engine and propower.

But really I’d just be happy if the 500a package I got in 2022 came back, along with the door keypad. Barring that, I would like to see a choice of transfer case and front differential across the line, not restricted by trim. They aren’t exactly difficult parts to change between on the production line or anything (I mean, they already do it with rear diffs), it’s solely about market segmentation.
**2.3L driving a generator, while retaining some version of the frunk and at least a 50kWh usable battery capable of 10c charge/discharge. Pay tesla to design an efficient PMM to drive the rear wheels while being able to disengage the front motor. A maintenance-free 2 speed gearbox would also be acceptable integrated into the rear motor.

Some have been mentioned already.
  • Plug-In Hybrid for PowerBoost
  • Rear Mirror Camera
  • 4 Wheel Steering
  • Heated Wiper Rests

  • Much better/simpler self-update process
  • More customizability of gauges and infotainment screen
  • More control of vehicle functions from the Ford app and a better app in general.
  • 6' Bed, not 5.5 or 6.5.
  • RamBox storage is pretty cool.

Powerboost 2.0 is available on any motor and any cab configuration. That would probably get me to trade in my 22'.

4A with XLT. And/or cloth seats + no moonroof options at higher trims.

For PPO, ability to configure whether neutral is bonded or floating (ideally via relay controlled by software setting, but even accessible manual wiring would be acceptable).

heated wipers, camera rear view, turn signal camera (without trailer) and yes, BLIS works fine but the camera turns would be nice too.
i think 4A should be standard or at least an option for XL/XLT
