Also, when you tried to enable hsw in your factory sccm here did FORScan refuse to write it?
724-01-01 xxxx 8xxx -- and if so, were you using the newest version of FORScan? - older versions would have issues with 24 sccm
At that time we were using the latest. We also had three sccms. We ran into the same issue the dealerships are having when they replace components on a 24+. And if you haven't heard dealerships have tried swapping parts among 24s and the new truck rejects it. It's the craziest thing.I even hired someone to help me with this that new exactly what he was doing and after 3 hours we stopped trying. I tell people just get a higher trim level if there's certain things you want on it or get a used 21 to 23....

well you might ask your forscan guy if he was using version 2..4.xx at the time because if he wasn't then it would've failed to write on any/all of the 24 sccms you tried. since you still have everything installed it would be simple to try on your current stock sccm with the new version.

Any intel supporting the 2024+ trucks would be appreciated!

I have a SCCM, part number PL3Z-3F791-AB in-hand to test on my ‘24 XL (no auto wipers, no adapt cruise controls, no power column).

Sounds like I own a SCCM shaped paper-weight now :p

Can you lookup a SCCM part number that is compatible with the 2024 trucks? My stock XL SCCM doesn't have the heated steering wheel pins present...

The correct SCCM will have the pins. The other issues is power steering column and type of wipers. Intermittent vs rain sensing. That's why I had to hire someone. He used forscan and FDSR. We never got far because after changes were made I had all kinds of issues. He flashed the truck and uploaded as-builds. I don't remember part numbers, but all were from 24's. I know one was for the platnium. We knew parts from the earlier Gen wouldn't work. It would be fantastic if you could figure it out. I had so much money invested. Even installed the oem wiring harness.

The steering wheel worked without issues. Had no issues with the controls. Still installed. Like the softer leather feel.

None of that matters.

Well that would have been good to know back then. That would have prevented me from buying different ones.
I know.. it gets confusing. But all the heated wheel are for power column.. all you have to do it take the switch off.

THe auto wipers are the same.. all those have a different stalk. that has a extra graphic on it. It doesnt work though unless it is programmed and the rain sensor is there.

The 21 was the only one you had to be careful with because they had an active steering SCCM that wouldnt work in trucks with out but trucks dont have that anymore.

The issue why the SCCM doesnt work in the 24 with the 24 part number initially is the SCCM is part of the encryption network..

I dont remember the 23 SUper duty having the SCCM part of it.. but none the less in a 24 if you install a new SCCM you need to have the sccm authenticated.

I just found out helping someone out with this. Saw the message error DTCs.. and knew right away..

Use the 24 sccm, I did the swap on my 24 XL with Jesse's help. If you haven't done the wiring I am selling the harnesses to land in factory locations $150 shipped. I did it myself and went to the dealer for authentication, be prepared to go since your turn signals, high beams, or wipers won't work.

Thanks for update. Greatly appreciated. I have the SCCM part number that Jesse shared. I still have everything wired and nice and neatly.
