Upgraded steering wheel for 24 XL

I ordered an OEM XLT leather steering wheel without heat and had the inserts painted gloss black to make it look a smidge better and a little less “XL” looking. Had the dash trim painted to match.

Assuming this was all plug and play in your 24 and you did you use the 24 airbag as well?

I moved the buttons and wiring harness from my original wheel the truck came with to this XLT wheel. And, yes, this is the ‘24 airbag my truck came with.

I just finished swapping a Lariat steering wheel into my 24 STX. Much easier than I thought it was going to be! A great tip that I read about and followed was to put towels under your front wheels to help turn them when removing the airbags.
