ok I think I understand. I’ll try this out step by step. I understand what you are saying though that this size tire was never meant to be. So I will be increasing it not decreasing it?

When I change the tire size I did not do it by changing the value. I did the easy way by tire circumference MM. stock was 2547 Now I have it at 2750 and it’s dead on with GPS.
So do I need to change this back first then start increasing by 16” from there?

And what is the down side by leaving the DTC with a fault? Will it lead to other issues?

Ok here is what I did. Went into Bdycm module, tires. Changed back to original 2547. Cleared code DTC no fault. Then went back in and started going up a little at a time. 2674 is the highest value I can reach and relearn the PCM with no fault on the DTC.?
It’s about 75mm lower then what had me perfect but if I’m only 1-2mph off and no fault I’m good with that.

I’ll test the speed later with GPS and see what it says.

ok speed test done and it’s pretty dead on. 1/2 - 1 mph fast but that’s great. No DTC faults at all. Can’t believe I lived with it off 5-6 mph for 3 years. Thank you SilverPigeon. This group really is amazing and so helpful.

Im sure I’ll have more questions needing help soon. That I am pretty comfortable with FORScan I’ll soon do the changes to BlueCruise 1.4 that Rugedraw Javier sent me. That one has a lot of Value’s to change.

Good deal, ya Silver beat me too it and there is a hard coded maximum tire size in the PCM, go above it and you'll always get a CEL regardless. So only way around that would be a tuner.

There seem to me to be other odd settings in your IPMA. I hesitate to change them as they don't make sense to me from the '21 IPMA tab. Whether or not it's contributing to the black box issue is not clear. Maybe someone with more experience can assist.

I redid the FORScan changes and it all worked. Probably my APIM was on a Sync version that it shouldn’t be on or something.

Yea, what happened in your case was very strange. From Sync 24008 (which I've never seen on an F150 before) to Sync 23159 two times and then Sync 23291. For sure not your average FDRS experience. Lol

8 speaker B&O system
Trying to figure out how to disable the center dash speaker or change it to tweeter only. According to my as built values and the spreadsheet mine is not present. But it is there and it is overpowering loud. Does this speaker not get it‘s signal from the acm or dsp? Both of those addresses have it not present.

Take off the cover and disconnect it. Takes about 2 minutes

Waiting on my OBD link to get here Saturday and am interested in 2 settings if anyone can tell me if FORScan can do it or not and where?

1- I like to see the transmission gear display to see what gear I'm in, I keep having to turn it on everytime. Is there a way to keep it on always?

2- The radio stays on for about 2-4 seconds after I open the door, I'd like the radio to shut off as soon as the door is opened. That way I'm not blasting people for those 2-4 seconds for the radio to go off.

Truck is a 2024 F150 STX 4x4 2.7.

Any luck on these 2? I have the same truck! and would love these!

I’ve been here but just mostly lurking in the shadows and just reading. Swapping them for raptor tail lights. Trying dechrome my platinum some and got a nib pair of raptor taillights for a really good price. No ice fishing for me. I’ll fish till the water freezes over but ice scares the crap outta me so I find other winter activities.

Hey guys, couple questions regarding some forscan changes I'm thinking about making. I have 2021 Plat fully updated in FDRS.

1) I've been seeing threads over the last few months saying glare free is broken. Is this the case or has a newer update fixed this bug? Is this a true glare free/matrix headlight type ordeal? Can only certain model trucks utilize this? I have the OEM projectors. Is this truly useful or more of a gimmick?

2) Trailer side view - Again, seems like i've seen that this was bugged as well. Will this actually enable the side camera whenever I hit my turn signal without a trailer hooked up?
