It will not. The Clore PL2320 is $100 on Amazon. Some people even me got away with a 10amp, but for the difference in price, go with what we know works. I upgraded to the Clore myself to avoid problems.

No such thing as too much, but make sure it has power supply mode and it is not just a charger. Tbh, I think with a 40amp charger you should be good. Just make sure that the 12v is fully charged before attempting the PSCM/IPMA updates.

Well, just screwed myself a bit, any advice would be appreciated. I set the laptop to never shut off, but apparently when i moved it from inside to the truck it reverted and shut off after 20 minutes, in the middle of the IPMA update, cant believe it.

I see the thread below where you mentioned doing the PMI which will start it from scratch basically, however my IPMA is greyed out. I cycled the truck off/on, reconnected, did another network scan, and IMPA is still grey, not purple.

Anything to be done to get it to talk enough to show up purple so i can do the PMI process?

OK so unplugging both batteries got me to the purple ipma, doing PMI on it now. I assume later on i will now have to do the calibration drive for it as well?
stressful bit there, good thing i didnt have anything else planned the whole weekend!
