So I checked my ford pass app service info.
There are entries of service that my truck has never had done. One was exactly 1 year ago from a local dealer for air conditioning service with a price tag of 4868.60. Another for 65.00 electrical and other services with dates but no description.
I'm really concerned that these entries are going to hurt my value.

I suspect a dealer scammed ford for service they did to get money out of ford.
I did get major service on my exhaust exchanger but that was at a different dealer. That wasn't in the service records.
Has anyone seen this?

Why are you automatically going with Granger pulling some scam on the Ford warranty system? Have you ever thought of the idea that one little typo could put it against your truck versus somebody else’s?

Go to your local dealer talk to the service manager they should be able to edit this from the system

as far as the exhaust work, you can enter that into the system. I assume you have the paperwork you can reference the invoice the date all that kind of stuff.

It could be a simple wrong VIN was entered. I have been using a software package called CarTrac to log everything about my last 3 trucks. I scan all WO's and receipts and save in a file. The hard copies go into a binder. Sounds like a lot but really isn't. That way there are next to interesting or no mistakes and hav the paperwork to back it up.

One was exactly 1 year ago from granger motors for air conditioning service with a price tag of 4868.60.
I purchased my ESP warranty through Granger, and it showed up on my app as Air Conditioning & Heating.

When my truck was very, very new, I had the dealer perform the first couple of oil changes and tire rotation before I took over those duties myself. Both of them showed up in FordPass as a front-end wheel alignment and tire balance. I suspect it just the checking of a wrong box, done in haste.

Because i haven't had any work done with them.
It's suspicious that there is an entry for service from a dealer that's in my home area. I only suspect. Do dealers have the ability to modify these records?

I removed the name of the dealer from my OP. Several of you convinced me that it could be a entry error. I had a very bad experience with that dealer around that time that caused me to have the truck towed to another dealer. I don't trust this dealer but still I shouldn't have made any assumptions. Could you please edit there name too?

Sounds like a nice way to launder some money, aka Racketeering.

It’s funny you post this issue, because I had similar entries in my FordPass for 2 visits I never made. Now, I recently purchased my lease, last week, and when I go into the app, it only has service entries I put in for oil changes and tire rotation.

And these are listed as prior owner’s entries. The dealer entries are gone, poof!
The dealer entries if I recall correctly were A/C service……fresh fish smell…

VERY INTERESTING.

I have never visited or driven my F150 to Granger in Iowa.

I looked back at my Granger service entry. I purchased this through the internet, back in 9/22/22 for $1520, and there is a Service Detail for Granger Motors, Inc for AC work for $3040. Here is the screenshot.

There is no reason to edit/delete these forum entries since this is not a "human entry" issue.
To me, the dealer, Granger is taking advantage of some accounting practice to either falsely cook their books and/or get $$ from Ford for the services that were never supplied. In fact, this should probably be reported to @Ford Motor Company and see if this practice is widespread. If you were Ford, Granger would be stealing from you, both from the standpoint of the ESP plan being sold as well as the Service $$ that Granger might be reimbursed for since my truck was still under the original factory warranty.

We have had this questions may times and unfortunately ,it can be confusing.

When we processed your service contract, we are required to enter it through our dealer management system. We have 3 options for transactions: a car sale, repair order or parts ticket. Ford allows us to process this as a repair order and our dealer management system and Ford are mis categorizing the transaction as an air conditioning / heater concern and then are doubling the transaction price.

This is only reflecting in your Ford pass incorrectly and is not on your warranty or repair history. We've been in contact with Ford on resolving the issue but it hasn't been fixed obviously.

As a consumer, I have reached out to Ford as well to insure my records are valid for not only my truck but my ESP purchase. Like other owners, I don't need AC repair to be showing up on some carfax style history when my AC never broke or never needed fixing.

I'm more suspicious and angry than confused. Also when I go to sell my truck the only thing I can show is what's on my app. 5 thousand for AC repairs?
Why is this only happening to you? Are you benefitting from this in any way?
I suggest you press the issue with your ford contact. In the mean time tell us how we get valid service records.
