Ok…really dumb…when i try to locate a fellow PB on the streets, i look for the badge on the front door. My eyes not great…so, i mostly look for an outline of the Powerboost badge at bottom of front doors. Is this correct way to identify a fellow PB?

So, are there any other F150s that have a badge of any kind in the front lower door??

(Yes, i can tell difference b/w F150 and SuperDuty‘s Powerstroke badge…so that is easy.)

And sorry for the Q….

PowerBoost: F-150 Hybrid.
EcoBoost: F-150 with EcoBoost engines.
PowerStroke: SuperDuty trucks (or a less common diesel F-150).
So yes, looking for a badge at the bottom of the door is a good strategy to identify a PowerBoost. However, just be mindful of the EcoBoost and PowerStroke badges, as they can be in similar places but mean different things. If you're specifically looking for other PowerBoost F-150s, paying attention to the door badge and the truck's overall profile (not a SuperDuty, not an EcoBoost) will help you identify them correctly!

PS were only made for 1 year and are quite rare so seeing the door badge in 14+ gen means it's a powerboost though it could be a 21 PS.

I find my fellow PBers by their flying saucer sounds.
For me it is a non-issue. My niece has a Honda CRV hybrid…..oh my goodness, that sound is obnoxious and loud!!

Not an issue for me either. I installed one of @WillB17 bypass kits ?
My first mod was buying the first gen version of one of those kits, the truck has not sounded like a UPS truck when I back up for about 3 years now. I feel like I see more PBs that don't have the UFO sound passing by than I do with it...I wonder how many kits have been sold over the years...

Also for OP's question:

Powerboost Logo (on side of door):

Not to be mistaken for the Power Stroke Logo (also on side of door):

Power Stroke logo does look a lot like the Powerboost logo. Very easy to mistake at a glance. I imagine that's intentional. On Gen 14 F150s, they are quite rare. Only were made for 2021s, and even then I don't think they sold a lot of them. I've seen maybe 3 of them total, and where I live, there are a LOT of F-150s. I'm kinda sad they didn't take off, they seemed like a great option. But they were very heavy and an expensive add on. They also exist on I believe 2018 - 2020 models of F-150s. Slightly more common, still pretty rare to see.

Ecoboost Logos are not on the side (at least for Gen14 I think). You'll see them on the tailgate:

Hard to mistake that for a Powerboost or a Powerstroke.

No logos almost always mean the 5.0. 5.0 people love the sound of their own truck, you don't need to ask them to step on it because they will do so on their own, and you can confirm it's a v8 with that unique coyote throaty roar.

Some people remove the logos for that clean look on their truck. I prefer to keep the logos on mine because I want other F-150 owners to judge me. It's part of the fun.

I removed my badges first thing. Where I live, your truck will get keyed or cow-kicked for any of that "green nonsense". Sad world we're living in.

We have a bypass for Hondas: https://www.megaohmmotorsports.com/product/honda-toyota-avas-bypass-kit

If anyone is looking for the best powerboost mods on the market, check them out here :sunglasses:: https://www.megaohmmotorsports.com/

Supposedly someone said the bypass doesn't work on 24's..not sure who but our bypass continues to work on all years of the Powerboost and any ford hybrid out there.

Look for a smug look on the driver's face. If there, its PB (I have a PB).
