Hi all, I have a couple questions:

How do I know if I have the IPMA update required for the side view cams?

Does the coolant/transmission temp readouts mod work for the 8" IPC, or is it truely just the 12"? I've seen 2015-2020 trucks with the 8" screen have it enabled so it would be odd if it didn't work, but wanted to confirm before I committed the change.

Enable digital temps for engine & transmission on 12" digital cluster only

Trailer turn signals required the 23 ipma update. Yiu can do it with fdrs
Or dealer may do it if battery charge needs update
There is a note on spreadsheet to reflect the ipma update

For the trailer side cams, can I enable without the update and not break anything? This truck had some major work done back in January so it may have this IPMA update, but I don't know for sure. Is there a way to check the current version other than FDRS?

You can enable trailer view and 50/50 view at speed without having the update. It just won't work. You'll get the button on sync screen for the extra camera view. I did this early in year and didn't install the update in FDRS until July. Didn't hurt anything having changes in place and it immediately started working when update was installed.

That adapter is only a reader and not a programmer so it's not going to work for removing the double honk. Buy this adapter: https://www.amazon.com/OBDLink-EX-FORScan-OBD-Adapter/dp/B081VQVD3F

Once you have the adapter above then a simple change to the BCM (BdyCM) here will eliminate the double-honk: 726-63-02 xxx0 xxxx xx--

Not sure what you are looking at but that isn't what it says on the spreadsheet.

Rewire them and add a switch to power them.

You're referring to the FORScan tutorial that was made back when the 13th gen F150s were around and that used 726-41-02. I've updated that example in the tutorial to specify that it's for the 2015-20 F150.

Nope. You used to be able to do it using the pin method but that ended with the 2020 year, 2021+ is completely revamped.

@Livnitup yes, that is what i was referring to. there are 200+ pages to the original specific forum, hard to get through them all and I've tried the search function, not so easy to find information.

You don't need to read through the forum replies; you only need the actual spreadsheets here for a 2021-24
