So, did it work?

Hello I have a job 1 2021 f150 powerboost platinum and recently went the mongoose fdrs route to take care of all the updates and module dtcs. Only problem I ran Into was with updating
APIM after 3 hours I didn't get the normal end to an update and when I tried to reinstall gave me a restore DEOx_ range exception writing / message. Could someone run my Vin and tell me where I'm at in this process. 1FTFW1ED2MFA98400. I have noticed a number of improvements already.

I'm in process of updating IPMA now in my own truck. Never seen a failure in the 4 times I've used FDRS for updates.

Only that you can't install it.
Keeps asking for security credentials like PATS.

I personally was hoping it would give us equivalent of 2024 software with walk away lock, but that is just a dream idea.

My view from an adaptive cruise user after installing the late 2023 IPMA update.

Much better holding center line. Barely a wiggle versus the old ping pong effect. Better curve handling. I don't trust the truck to drive itself, but I felt like I had to fight the steering wheel far less than in the past. It still wiggles the wheel to see if it is being held, but it is much more subtle movement. Probably why the ping pong was reduced.

Steering in normal mode seems tighter but that could be my imagination. Always felt normal was a bit sloppy vs sport mode.

Definitely was worth the install.

The other boring things I installed door modules, HVAC, and driver seat. Now I was getting a code for voltage complaints from the driver seat module after update that I was not getting previously. I haven't seen a TSB/SSM etc for the driver seat so not sure what that update was supposed to address.

I did the same updates a few weeks ago. Adaptive cruise is a lot better for sure. After I did the DSM my power running boards are kind of messed up. They seem to deploy ok but you hear the motor going for a bit after they are out. Did a systems check with forscan and it passed so I’m not sure what’s going on.

I enter the activation code in and once I hit continue, it comes back saying "FDRS is not able to validate the license as entered. Please verify the license key is typed correctly and try again". I click on show details, and it says "Failed to load native library fdrslm.dll!" I copy and pasted the activation code, so I know that its getting entered in correctly. I also know that I have a good internet connection so it should be able to communicate with license server. Anyone ever run into this?

If no one else chimes in, I would uninstall FDRS and have it delete all data, then re-install it again.

I have tried this several times with no success. Cant tell if this is actually an issue with fords servers or an issue with a missing file on my computer...

Early this week the BCM update was still asking me for extra credentials. Whatever is in that update will have to wait for it to come in OTA. Someone posted in OTA thread a BCM update so maybe that is this one? ?‍

I have another laptop with windows 10 home so I installed FDRS on that and was able to finally validate the license. Now when I go to login, I am getting an error that says “Stack overflow on line:1”. I switched to dealer login and it takes me right to login page. Is this a server issue with the non-dealer login?

Many people have had major issues logging in to FDRS for the first time. You may want to try an older version of FDRS,
