What sun shade do you have?

I thought this might be a simple purchase. After looking around, it appears that Sunscreens for my dash are more expensive than I thought. $50-100.

Any of these better than others? All seem to. look the same.

This is what I bought. It is without a doubt one of the best buys I have made. Simple, cheap and fast install and take down. When folded back in its pouch, it fits in the drivers door pocket out of the way but easy to reach.

I have a WT sunscreen. Reversible black/silver for hot and cold days. Yes not cheap but what is now days?

I went the REALLY cheep generic way..$7.99 large silver thick hard to fold one for my Honda Fit at Walmart. But I did see a video for a 2022 F-150 that attached to the passenger side windshield pillar and on the driver's side had a magnetic bar. You just pulled it across the windshield like a window blind and the drivers side magnetic bar held it up. Fast easy to 'deploy'. It was less than a inch and a half square and maybe 20 inches long? Under fifty bucks?
That's the one I plan to get for my RCSB when it gets built.

I bought a $90 hard accordion folding one from covercraft and it's nice, but my wife 's $15 Amazon thin one that folds up into a circle seems to do just as well or close and takes up way less space when not in use. Probably one of those times in hindsight I would've saved the money

I got the WeatherTech shades. They are pricey at $160, but they fit perfectly. BTW...Amazon says they are not compatible with the 2021+ Ford F-150's. They definitely fit the SuperCrew despite what Amazon says.

Serious question: how does your $90-160 sun screen blocks the sun, or does a better job protecting the dashboard, better than my Walmart/Amazon $15 one? Mine covers the entire windshield and dashboard. Of course it's not custom cut, but still - it blocks everything.

I bought one of the windshield umbrellas as mentioned above and after a few nights of my alarm going off in the middle of the night, I had to take it out. I don't know what was causing the alarm to blast but once I took out the umbrella, it stopped.

That's what i'm trying to say.... i don't think mine does a much better job... it's negligible. It is custom fit and a little thicker, but that's the only reason it would do any better of a job. If I did it again, i'd go with a cheap-o
