Interesting. As mentioned above, is it because of the dual exhaust? The Platinum posted a few pages ago appears to have the new one.

The "updated" bumper is 1 big piece of metal, vs the "old" (but apparently still installed on BAP trucks with the dual exhaust) is the old "2-piece+plastic piece" bumper.

Easier to notice on a Chrome package truck, but look at the bottom of the Blue King Ranch bumper in the previous post... the bottom of the bumper continues across the middle.
I think you're right. It appears that only the BAP trucks with the dual exhaust retain the old style bumper whilst everything else gets the new one.

If you look at the Build & Price generated images, the BAP has a smaller step to allow for the dual exhaust. - For those of us w/ the PAT, adding the BAP cuts down on some of the functionality.

Boys, I am officially out of the rat race on this one. I just signed papers on a 2024 Agate Black KR Powerboost with Long McArthur in Salina, KS. They got me close enough to the Granger price I had and got me much better than I expected on my trade. They will spray in a liner for me and install a tonneau (decent prices on those as well) on Monday. I will get it on Tuesday.

I will not have the PAT as this truck is a dealer order early Job 2 (Blend date in late March). This is a little disappointing to me, but waiting another 3-5 months would just cost me more in trade equity and I lost a lot during this wait. Long McArthur actually got some of that back for me with their offer (they are apparently looking for 14th Gen Platinums) that was about $4-5k higher than the DFW area dealers. They were also able to get me a PCO so I didn't lose ALL of my PCO tied to my Granger order.

In short, I am happy. Not thrilled, but happy enough. The wait is almost over. I will have a black KR on Tuesday. Pics forthcoming. To those still waiting: I wish you the best, but if you were in my boat and losing trade equity, there are deals out there (you might have to drive to Kansas).

I was almost as invested in your journey as my own lol. I’d check every Thursday to see if you got scheduled. Happy you found a truck and a deal that makes you happy! Lord knows you earned it!

wessermgm, I don't blame you a bit for this decision. You may have compromised a little but Ford has given you absolutely nothing to hang your hat on and you have given it the the yeoman's effort waiting this long. I'm happy for you and wish you smooth sailing with your new truck!

Thanks. I didn't think I would mind the wait, and knew there would be one. I guess despite the fact that I was as prepared as anyone going in I still wasn't prepared for THIS. I will watch this thread for as long as it continues and revel in all of you guys trucks and those snazzy PATs! I do tend to trade in every 2-3 years... PAT may yet be in my future....

Congrats! Looking forward to seeing it!
It seems like Wyo has been with me on this damn journey the longest. Glad your truck is almost here. Can't wait to see it.

It’s been a bit of a roller coaster, more so for you than most, but I sure am thankful for this group. A lot of knowledge and good advice on here!

Congrats man! I don’t blame you one bit. I’ve been looking around as well, but haven’t found anything even close to what I want yet, so I guess I’ll keep adding to my 235 day wait! Luckily my trade is old enough that I shouldn’t be losing a whole lot in value. I hope. Glad your wait is almost over and looking forward to pics!

Nope... I've been holding out since mid-September; Wyo "only" since January.

Congratulations on the purchase. Understand why you made the choice. Looking forward to the pics.
