Here’s a new one! Dealer is advertising pre-package discount as MSRP to make it appear that they’re offering a bigger discount than they are, so I call them out on it. Rep responds that MSRP varies by region and their trucks don’t get the factory package discounts. LOL.

What insane BS. When I custom ordered my 22 PB at a time where zero discounts were being given and huge dealer adjustments were everywhere, my local dealer told me I wouldn’t pay a penny over MSRP (because I work for the city blah blah). Fast forward to delivery date, they added fords $1000 “sorry for waiting” discount to the MSRP, then subtracted it. So the $63k truck was changed to $64k, then brought back down to $63k for me as a “favor”. They also detailed and coated the truck with “cilajet” when I specifically told them not to, and tried charging $700 or so. I refused to pay that.

Many years ago when my brother was sales manager at the local Jeep dealer I placed a factory order for a Cherokee per my exact specs with him. After working up the cost he slid the figure across the desk to me. I offered him $500 less! He chewed me out real good and said if I wanted he would show me his commision check and take me out to dinner. Me: "Alright, alright, calm down. I'm just playing the buyer/salesmen game with you!

you need to report this dealer to ford at the top level

discounts on the window sticker are DISCOUNTS anywhere , ad thats how the msrp on the bottom is arrived at..

MSRP is a fictional number. It is the true net cost to the dealer that counts and this needs to reflect discounts and rebates and incentives from the factory.

Sunrise Ford In Fontana, CA is doing the same BS! In stock RCSB XL's that were "ordered" by employees are going for 5K ADM + dealer installed BS. I was quoted 53K + T&T for a RCSB XL 4x4. I'll continue to wait for my order from Jan.

I thought N. Dakota was a friendly state to do business in. That's why a bunch of the data mining companies and server locations have been built up there. Kinda sad but yeah, never be shy to call out a shit dealer.
