Another Deleted Item

At least this delete is not from Ford. My F-150 order skated through by the skin of its teeth.

When you would go to Panara Bread you had to get there early if you wanted any Sesame Bagels. They could not make them fast enough. Now I go into the store to get some for the holiday weekend and they them tell me they deleted that item from the menu. Look at what Ford started.

The best bagel of the bunch and they deleted it.

Just for the record, salt bagels are the best. Yet just about every bagel chain outside of the Jewish delis in NY no longer sell them. The ULTIMATE delete.

HA! I think I remember salt bagels from my time in NJ. Haven't seen them in decades. I used to get Black Russian Pumpernickel when I could find it.

Sadly outside of the NY NJ area it is hard to even find a real bagel. Mostly bread with a hole in it that resembles a bagel. No boiling at all and only baking.

New Yorker Bagel is a major bagel factory in NY that makes real bagels and they have a great delivery service. I just gave them a try for a dozen and we'll see how they do.

I'm originally from the Pittsburgh area and there were shops in the Squirrel Hill area that had excellent bagels. Out here in the desert southwest I think they make them out of tortillas.

Here you go! I hope this doesn't cause you to add this "mod" onto your list of things to do. However, if you do, it will be enjoyable! If you are headed up there, they will be eaten in an even better "atmosphere".

Yeah I looked and no salt bagels. I think those were deleted in the 1980's.

We were able to get them until at least the mid-2000s (at least the place we went to on Long Island when back visiting). But since then, I think you're correct: deleted.
