Hell no I wont go.

I have to confess, little niggles are annoying. From the increasingly frequent loud buzzing from the stereo., sunroof drains blockages, and just stop the messing around with the truck's software, etc.

If I did, I'd get the hybrid, so I have higher than 400w inverter. I've got to go get some micro 2 fuses to replace one that popped under a 300w battery charger's load. Plus no sunroof or 20 inch wheels. The 18s are just as round.

I’m starting to shop … my ‘22 Limited Powerboost issues are driving me insane … my first Ford experience has been less than stellar …
What kind of issues? My 21 Limited has issues, leaking sunroof that seems to never stop leaking to boot....

Think he was poking fun that the elusive “Plantium” trim and seeing if it came with a special motor that was better than the poor man’s “Platinum” trim.

I’m not seeing any issues with my truck, so I won’t “restart” a bunch of payments for a face lift. I also prefer analogue gauges to digital, so it’s a no brainer to stick with my 23 PB XLT.

My 22 has 18k miles and it's been in my stable for 25 months.
6k of those miles was twice a day 40 miles round trip taking grandchild to work.
I don't do that anymore, so miles are not racking up
Plus the weirdness of things removed across all ford models, yet price stays the same makes me happy the only delete I have is the dumb auto start stop

My 22 rides great, comfy, been forscaned to my liking . Why change for a new grill and weird tailgate??

I guess I dont get it. The V-8 is not offered in the Platnium any longer. No premium packages offer the V-8. So if you want a high end package, your stuck with a V-6. That ends my desire to own a (new 24)Ford PU. I'll pick one of the other brands, or better yet, stick with what I have.

Hell no.

There's a guy that will be offering facelifts w/ a discount for the factory parts. Still ends up being a few $k.

Requires headlights, grille, (BAP/tremor hood depending on which face you want), bumper, fog lights, below grille painted plastic fascia, and the various bits and bobs that hold it all together.
I really just dig the gloss black grill. I have been looking at a gloss black xlt overlay and the 24 fender vents that are black. I think the 302a XLT lighting I have is nicer than the 24+ and like the accent lighting more on mine.

So a $299 grill and the vents should cover me. :)

My truck is one of the last ones that's easily tunable too. While I haven't done it, I will closer to the end of my warranty. 500+ hp has a nice ring to it.

We get a discount through work on Fords and during the pandemic years several of my workmates were swapping trucks every 6 months and never losing a dime. One guy made $12K on an F250 after driving it for 6 months!

I had ordered a '24 to try and get on this program but then realized that my lightly used '21 Limited had already lost >$20K as things are more normal now. So, I cancelled the order.

Also, my '21 already has some parts and some love that I didn't feel like redoing all over again.

I really like the new Hybrid Ram thing, but realistically going and spending an extra $40K on a new truck to save some gas, will never make economic sense. Also, I genuinely miss driving smaller more nimble cars (I need a truck for my lifestyle and work). So my long term plan now is just to drive the F150 till about 150K miles and then add a sporty EV to drive the days that I don't need a truck.

Not a chance. I paid below $59k for my 2021 Lariat plus with all the issues (mostly take care of) had some monitary compensation for my troubles.

My truck is $70k+ as a 2024. Even with the lingering issues im perfectly happy saving $20k+ plus the crazy interest rates.

Unfortunately they eliminated several wiring harnesses. No more 3.5 EcoBoost STX, no more PowerBoost XL or STX, no more 2.7 Lariat, no more 5.0 KR/Plat. Hopefully they reverse this, we shall see. It seems like they are feeling the effects of removing 5.0 from the KR/Plat, as that bottlenecked leather and V8 wanters into a Lariat if they didn’t want a Tremor 5.0. They way oversold BAP Lariat and lots are would be 5.0 Plat customers I think. V8 customer aren’t your typical customer who is just going to accept another engine, we are primarily motor heads. Was short sighted imo.

Financially it doesn't make sense for me to trade a 23 now. Plan is to keep it for another five years but in 3 years I will trade it in if there is a plug-in hybrid model or an improved lightening. I nearly purchased a lighting but range is an issue with current models, pulling to a super charger with a trailer is a hassle, didn't like the look of the rear suspension/motor from behind and hated the cheap LED front strip light.

I’m curious how many guys are getting the refresh and what your reasoning is. Obviously for most financially it wouldn’t make sense but just overall if your getting a 24?
I have a 2010 XLT with just under 200K on it. Plan to retire soon and this will probably be my last truck. Been waiting since Nov 2023 to get a build date.
