Walk Away Lock can be enabled on 2024s only with the following and it's been added to the Common spreadsheet:
BCM 726-89-02 x1x1 x1x1 x1--
BCM 726-90-01 xxx1 xxxx xx--
APIM 7D0-09-05 xxxx 8xxx xx--
Optional - You can also turn on Audible Lock feedback for Walk Away Lock with these:
BCM 726-89-01 x1x1 x1x1 x1--
BCM 726-90-01 x*xx xxxx xx--
APIM 7D0-09-05 xxxx Cxxx xx--

Because the 21-23 BCM asbuilt address structure doesn't have this due to our firmware:Why wouldnt this work for all past models? I was able to follow along and get the toggle to appear in my instrument cluster.
2022 Lariat High with all the options
Because the 21-23 BCM asbuilt structure doesn't have this:
BCM 726-89-02 x1x1 x1x1 x1--
BCM 726-90-01 xxx1 xxxx xx--
so unless Ford sends us a BCM update in the future, it won't work
Mine too![]()
good to know a future update could potentially make it possible.Because the 21-23 BCM asbuilt address structure doesn't have this due to our firmware:
BCM 726-89-02 x1x1 x1x1 x1--
BCM 726-90-01 xxx1 xxxx xx--
so unless Ford sends us a BCM update in the future, it won't work. You might be able to get it to appear in your Sync touchscreen but it won't let you enable it with the toggle button because of the BCM structure.
One report of it being physically smaller, as in it's a different product entirely. Firmware can't do much for it if that's the case.good to know a future update could potentially make it possible.

Couldn’t even let my reply sit there for 10 min before you had to come on here and crush my hopes and dreams…One report of it being physically smaller, as in it's a different product entirely. Firmware can't do much for it if that's the case.
Several people have been trying to get this working for a while so you're not the only one remaining hopeful. It's a handy feature to have sans those few times you want the vehicle to remain unlocked and then you'll dislike it for however long you want it to remain unlocked for and then you're back in the habit of walking away and letting it do its thing. It's a love love hate love kind of thingCouldn’t even let my reply sit there for 10 min before you had to come on here and crush my hopes and dreams…
I have it on my wife’s Pilot and hate it because I have to go inside to get the keys so often. Having the keypad entry on my truck would make this a very handy feature that would eliminate that headache.Several people have been trying to get this working for a while so you're not the only one remaining hopeful. They've separated the fuses from the BCM now so I would imagine it's smaller but that's not to say a software update to the 21-23 BCM couldn't include the Walk Away Lock if Ford so desired. One report of it being physically smaller, as in it's a different product entirely. They ain't got no love for us ?They've separated the fuses from the BCM now so I would imagine it's smaller but that's not to say a software update to the 21-23 BCM couldn't include the Walk Away Lock if Ford so desired.
