Anyone know how much the dealer will charge me to fix this? Any ballpark? My wife is mad because I want to sell the truck out of spite!

No idea. Question: Are you somewhat mechanically inclined? Would you feel comfortable taking the APIM out of your truck and swapping it out with another yourself? It is not difficult to get to.

They said the light switch has been replaced now which seems like an odd thing to throw money at and hope the problem goes away. I think it needs an entire harness replaced.

All these vehicles complain about something. It's beyond rare I check any car that has zero codes on it.

Yep, looking at my own history on PTS is always interesting. Lots of random codes all the time but everything keeps working.

You're up to 6.8.0, so you've gotten most of the progression updates. There are door module updates that improve window functions and you are showing them as available updates, but I think you may just need to reprogram your driver window. I don't remember the procedure, but I'm sure you can find it on youtube.

Mind checking my update status again? I did about 11 hours of updates last weekend and should be fully up to date then Sunday morning while washing my truck tore my calf muscle. I meant to check before my license ran out on Sunday but was a little distracted from the pain. Sucks getting old. Currently truck is at the dealer hopefully getting my low coolant problem fixed.

The reason I am asking is, my last OTA was August 12th. Around the end of August my grandson, trying to be funny I guess, deleted my Ford account. He thought it was just deleting it off my phone. Unfortunately, it was deleted at Ford. I lost my Ford points that I had collected. I had to make a new account and got a new account number.

My old number started with 111xxxxxx. My new number is 134xxxxxx. Is it possible this is the reason for not getting OTA's? Ford has no history of my truck getting updates or what point it is in regards to software level.

Out of curiosity, does PTS show the wiring diagram for the headlight switch and associated components? Not sure how a switch would cause problems with only one headlight.

Your truck is on the latest Sync and PTS does not show any pending module updates. Looks like you're good to go.

I can, but if he removed it, it may not show. Send me the VIN again and I'll see what it shows for you.

It does, but it can be a PITA to find it. Remind later when I'm home from work and can dedicate some time to digging around for it and I'll find it for you.
