Any updates on the dreaded BCM update? Any more success/horror stories? I'm on a 501 trim 2021 Job 1 Lariat...and haven't taken the risk yet.
Ive heard a few install it in 502 and higher no issues. I havent heard too much for 501A and lower with Quad LED

2022 and 2023. It is expected to pop up for 2021's sooner than later. For now, it is only obtainable with FDRS and even then, requires FORScan changes to activate it. Not sure what Ford's logic is releasing the update without activating the feature, but that is where things stand at this time.

Documented publicly? No. I am not privy to that information. When the gurus figured out how to activate BC 1.2 on our vehicles a year ago or so, Ford was not very happy about it. From my understanding, they were actually quite pissed. So whatever changes are required in FORScan are not common knowledge.
2023 F150s have the IPMA software needed for BC 1.2/1.3. The IPMA software only needs to be side-loaded to 2021-2022 trucks. The FORScan changes need to be done either way.
