Hi all,
Just placed my order for a Platinum Plus at my local dealer... Now the wait begins. He said maybe February delivery. We'll see.

Priority Code 19.

Anyone else placed an order?

No known issues with supply chain constraints or forced removals/deletes? I assume it’s too early but can’t hurt to ask

The multi-contour seats could be affected... But no news yet on that. It's already affecting the 2024 Expedition orders.

The heated steering should be safe.

How damn long has the massage seats been a delete? Since at least Job 1 2022. If they are deleted three model years in row, Ford needs to get their ass sued for continuing to market them as a feature when no trucks have them for three years and 75% of the trucks they have produced in this generation that were supposed to get them haven't. There is no supply chain constraint that has kept you from offering this for this long. If it is a chip, get a different supplier. I think the simple truth is that these seats are expensive and probably have demonstrated a high propensity for warranty work. But, they don't want to seem behind their competitors so they claim "restraints" in perpetuity and offer some pissant $200 delete credit. It is a joke.

Your dealer is pretty optimistic with a February delivery.

You may want to prepare yourself for April or May.

You ordered a top of the line truck. Due to these being more complex, they generally aren't in a rush to build them right away with new models.

I can't even get these clowns to deliver an already built and "shipped" truck, 15 miles down the road from Dearborn Assembly where it was built, in under a week.

Got my order confirmation from Ford (placed by Granger Ford) on 29 Sept for an RCSB XL 4x4 103A with the 5.0 in Carbonized Gray Metallic. Only option was for the wheel well liners, but they aren’t available at this time. No delivery date mentioned, but Granger is VERY busy, something like 100 orders a week ?

Job 2 for 2022s, my Job 1 2022 has no deletes.

That sucks. Probably better to just keep the wheel well liners off the order and just order husky liners. Unfortunately for me the Platinum plus comes with the liners. I'm willing to delete those.

The last I read 24MY OTB isn't expected until sometime in January so might be best to expect delivery sometime in March or later.

So a Plat Plus is the Limited basically right? So can you get a Plat Plus with 157" WB?

I think he's overly optimistic too. I can wait. This new truck is more of a "want" than a "need". Got a 23 Raptor I'll be trading for the 24 so

According to Long McArthur Ford who posts scheduling notes... 24s are being scheduled along with 23s in Nov and Dec up until Dec 18th when they shut down for two weeks.

Sounds about right and things can always change. Here is an example of 1 of the quotes I read, copied from the thread:

2024 F-150 Refresh Ordering Starts in September, Production in Late November

We've just learned from highly credible insider sources that the 2024 F-150 MCA (mid-cycle refresh) order banks open around September 13, 2023. Start of Production (SOP) is November 27, 2023. The reveal will be soon, possibly in August. OKTB should be in early January or slightly earlier.

If I'm not mistaken and I probably am, I don't think they actually start assembly until OKTB is given. Just sayin
