I know for a lot of people modifying a brand new truck (except for tires and wheels) seems like a odd thing.. Plus you have to find a shop to do it and you can't finance it in with your regular loan. I wanted a regular cab and options this year are REALLY limited so to have the truck I want I'm forced to do it. If you really want the massaging seats and otherwise a STX or XLT will work well for you at $10,000.00 $15,000.00 or even more LESS ... Check and see what it might cost to add them yourself..Even with a full Custom leather interior it might be less than 5 grand. The problem with being forced into a much higher priced truck to get a feature/option you really really want is you pay so much for things you really don't care about. Lots of examples with Ford..I bet in there heart of hearts a huge number of F-150 owners don't need or will ever use 4 wheel drive but the truck/trim they like otherwise like has it. In a RCSB that's a $5,015.00 bump. Leather seats typically force you to get more options than you might pick if you had the choice.
So if the massaging seats is really important ( and the price/money spent too) look at what it might cost you to 'Option' it yourself.
