Loaded Lariat has more options and is less expensive than a base Platinum now. Loaded Lariat includes HUD, B&O Unleashed, and dual exhaust. Platinum does not, but does include a better looking front end, auto running boards, and better seats.

i'm sure powered running boards are available on the 502A Lariats. It has been that way since the release of the 14th gen F150's lol.

No, something else is going on. With the PB's the max tow added the not so HD axle. Here's a note on the tow package...

So what is this so called 'axle upgrade' ??

I think it means you don't get a choice in whether it has a locker or not or the gear ratio (ie. 3.31, 3.55, 3.73, etc.).

Is it possible to order a platinum without chrome on the grill and badges? In other words, platinum with BAP type of appearance?

for 2022 and 2023 yes it was possible. i’m personally unsure about the 2024+ model years though.

Yes. The base Platinum and Platinum High do not have chrome, they have black trim like the 2023 BAP.

I'm so pissed at Ford. I know this is a personal quirk, but I would like a little chrome on the outside and cloth seats. So that would be an XLT, right? The seats on the non-sport XLT's was very light. I was hoping it would be darker this year. But nope. Look at how light the cloth on these seats is. They made them even lighter! It will take all of a week for these seats to look filthy. I swear Ford is run by a bunch of jackasses.

well it's a good thing there is no NEW or REVISED powerboost engine yet. that thing has only been out since 2021 and it is going to need plenty of usage/feedback before Ford goes back to the drawing board.

I get your point, but hooking up a different engine to what's essentially the same hybrid trans and battery should be even more simple than inventing that stupid tailgate.

Yeah and worse yet, the XLT dropped the column shifter. Jackasses indeed.

Platinum Plus is only available with the chrome/satin trim. It's pretty much equivalent to the Limited.

It's not paranoia, it just isn't a good sell. More power but the increased weight means it's not faster. Gas mileage is about 1 more. All for a bunch of whiz bang? No thanks.

Builder shows the black appearance package is for black trucks. Maybe it's wrong but it's forcing black paint

The XLT and the Tremor they showed looked very cheap with that ugly front end. 302a is a nice looking truck and the led reflectors look good, good accent lighting and a lot say they perform better than the led projectors. Now the XLT looks like a poverty truck but it's still 60k

But it is faster- more than half a second in the 1/4 vs the 3.5- documented in several places if you want to look- if you care about such things.

I’m able to option the BAP in black, rapid red and antimatter blue- so maybe it’s glitching somewhat.
