I would also like to know if the DSP update is fixed. I know at one point Jesse mentioned it changed the sound to come out of the cluster rather than speakers.

I had the issue with the 8 speaker. I installed the DSP update and it for whatever reason made the chimes run through the cluster. I hate that. I gave it time to see if it would stop but for me it never did. As soon as I installed the previous files it was fine again.

I dont know if that was the case for anyone else but it was for me. Iceman has the 18 speaker and said his did it too and he rolled his back

I use a MacBook Pro for my FDRS updates. This is running on an intel MacBook Pro that is running boot camp. You need to boot directly into windows and not run it as a VM. I've found running as a VM can cause issues since the VM is not directly controlling the USB ports.

It worked! I wasn't shutting done the Mac completely before loading Windows via Bootcamp. But I was able to install bunch of updates today and will be doing the rest tomorrow.

Also, how do I know how many more updates I have left? Feels like I definitely need to do another 2 day license. Lastly, is there a way to translate the Version numbers like "22177" into the version numbers listed on the Wiki?

The sync version is basically a date in code. 22177 = 2022 on the 177th day it was released. So you probably have 2 more apim's to do as the current version is 23031 or 2023 January 31st release.

The wiki page is gone. There is a pinned tread in this forum that rugdraw and tonesto7 are maintaining for us.

I too was at 22177, along with many others posting lately. Seems an IPC update kept failing OTA that was needed for further APIM updates that came later. Took a full two days of updating to get my truck current back in April. Total of 3 APIM updates for me. Plus all the in between updates. Keep going until you get rear cameras at speed and full screen AA/Carplay. The 2023 updates are just nice to have "preparing" for "something" but add nothing you'll see.

Just bad on past history of BCM updates, I certainly wouldn't be the first one trying to apply it.

Hell ya! I lost my left front Headlight LED Module upgrading the last BCM update first... I wait on these now!

Yeah about 3 months ago an initial BCM update that came out fried the LED module on the left headlight. They fixed the update after a few weeks but it damaged a lot of LED modules for the LED Headlight trucks.
