Ford going cheap on the seats

I like the seats a lot in my 302A, it has cloth 10-way electric adjust seats for driver and front passenger. Very supportive and comfy and the heat is very even. They breathe very well.

Plenty of space all around me, and about 5" of headroom.

The ergonomics for steering wheel and pedals are at the max though. I'm 5'7 and I have the steering wheel as close and low as it will go. The pedals are as far away as they will go with boots on. Driving barefoot I move them closer ??

I have to say the seats in my tremor are pretty darn comfortable. Still getting them dialed in, but no complaints.

Tremor shares the same seats as the Lariat trim level.

I went from a '20 Ranger Lariat to the '22 XLT F150 and the F150 seats are much better than the Ranger. Those wewre non-perforated leather and very hot in the summer not to mention just a tad narrow for my big ole butt. It took a few weeks to get the F150's seats dialed in to where I like them but now after 4500 miles they are very comfortable. The inner foam is very firm so try making minor tweaks to the seat position and lumbar pressure to see if you can find the right spot for you.

I went from 2019 ranger to 2022 f150. The f150 is more comfortable in every way.

Yup. Leather seats blow. Rip way too easy. Too cold in winter. Too hot in summer.

But ay keast you can brag about having leather seats....

Thus heated and cooled leather is a must.

leather cleans up way easier. Long day of mt biking and my sweaty, dirty ass sitting in the seat for the drive home - and I only have to take a quick wash cloth with some mild dish soap and it’s good as new.

Once or twice a year, I dig out the leather cleaner and conditioner. Though, admittedly, Ford leather is very cheap. I would guess the platinum and limited used better quality leather, but still subpar vs Audi or luxury brands.

So is this definitely true? The Tremor seats look more like the KR and higher trims with the wider back pad in the shoulder region.

based on my knowledge and research im pretty darn confident that the Tremor 402A uses the Lariat seats. then again i don't work for Ford nor am i certified spokesperson.

My 22 Tremor 402a seats are easily superior to my 13 FX4 seats, no question.

Edit: corrected 23 to 13, might explain some of the confusion.

That's because in 2013 the FX4 was a standalone trim level. Equivalent to today's lariat FX4. Leather 10 way power with heat and a/c seats

I dont have a new F-150 (yet) but the seats in my 2014 FX-2 are great. They've held up good after 9 years and 140k miles.

Sorry to say but as much as I love my 22 Lariat the seats on the Nissan TItan had it beat by a long way. I moved up from a 19 Ranger which was not good by any measure.
