None of it is free or cheap either. ?

There’s at least 8 mods on my list that are under $100 and another 2 mods that start at $100. It takes about $100 to fill your truck up with gas. If that ain’t cheap, then I don’t know if you should be driving a truck my guy. ???

I'm not filling up my 36 gallon tank for $100. ?

I already have the low items on that list. Rest doesn't interest me but post a thread when you get it done. :)

On order ‘22 RCSB.
You definitely can’t skip over these weak OEM 5.0L Coyote Oil Pump Gears if you plan on adding boost to your truck via Superchargers or Turbo’s because under high boost/RPM’s they break. They are easily the weakest part of the Coyote engine besides that oil pump belt. You have to open up the oil pump and go with billet gears inside.

buy them if you want but you cant install them on the gen 4 5.0. Different design…aka…doesnt use oil pump gears.

Good lucking putting gerator gears in a pump that’s not a gerator driven pump :ROFLMAO:. The belt driven vane oil pump is the reason Ford was able to raise the redline to 6,800 rpm from the factory on the 21+ engines. The new oil pump doesn’t have cast gerator gears that shatter due to NVH at high revs like the older motors did. Belts absorb that shock and slack to eliminate that issue. Everyone ran around in circles scared about the Kevlar belt but the truth is the pump is superior in priming & getting oil to the engine faster on startup, and being more resilient to NVH at high rpm. It’s better in just about every way.

This belt driven vane pump is down in the oil sump where it belongs, the old gerator pump on the 2020 and older was trying to pull oil from way up on the crankshaft. When I did the timing job on my old 5.4 it shocked me how far the pump had to pull oil from downstream to get it up into the engine.
