How much was that crappy knockoff?

Edit - Woops meant that for @onodelta
My thoughts exactly or what is the link to what you bought exactly. Might not have picked the right adapter to begin with. If you paid $500 for that then something ain't right.

yes it shows it ships from amazon and sold by opus ivs
well shit, you got scammed for sure then. I'd reach out to Opus and let them know of this order. Maybe they'll throw you a bone and give you a discount code or something for the troubles.

I just contacted amazon and returned it, ordered another, I did contact them as well and they offered to refund or send the right one but it was quicker to just return and get another

Is there a module I can reset with Forscan that can possibly correct the "Pre-Collision Assist Not Available" alert? P-C system has worked fine on my truck until this past week so wondering if it's something simple. (and yes truck is clean, no obstructions of the sensors). :)

start with getting a code scan and showing what the codes show so we are able to know better what is causing the issue. There are more than one sensor that could cause that error to come up and people guessing randomly wont help you much

That specific code U0645 is for the air dam modules located in the bumper, they're in charge in lowering an extra splitter behind the already visible splitter, slide underneath and inspect the wiring visually, there are 2 on either sides of the bumper and both have a wiring socket going to them. But this U0645 air dam code does not seem to be the code that's making the collision assist error to pop up, show the other codes in the other modules too, their descriptions. I also attached a picture of the air dam modules.

Thanks @onodelta

They replaced my active airdam about 6 months ago when it became stuck. I'll check the wiring.

Any thoughts on the others?

your error in dash is likely caused by the IPMA error. I've attached a picture of some information about that code. You can also check the as built data in the "programming" button on the left side on forscan, scroll down to IPMA (as built configuration) option and itll show the as built data that you can check if its right.

Good call, you can damn near return anything and everything to amazon luckily, so you order it again and hopefully get the right one this time. Should come in a decent Opus branded box as well.
