Happy New Year everyone! Give me a few days to catch up, 2022 turned out to be a cluster f*ck for me hence my absence.
Happy New Year! Thanks for your contributions to this thread, and your dedication to helping. I have to agree on 2022, here's to hoping for a better 2023.

I have been a lurker lately myself on F150 forums as my focus has been on my car the past few years. I also changed my truck four times in 2022 alone. Forums like this have always been my go to for anything F150, and it's guys like you, dolsen, iceman, Jesse, and MANY others that keep this place going. Special thanks to @dolsen for turning me on to this forum.

Check to see if your weather is working is the fastest way. In nav the top button with the three lines. Once in select weather see if it loads

That other forum is good for up to gen 13, but for gen 14, this is really the place to be.

Also, don’t include me with Jesse and iceman, they’re doing the real work, not me. I literally just regurgitate what I hear/read from them (along with re-doing their work myself on my own truck) as well as plenty of other fantastic members on here. I’m just a “student” of these trucks like most others on here.

Don't count yourself short, you have learned a lot from the masters, and have taken on your own students (me). It takes guys like all of you to have a successful community.

I completely agree, this forum is absolutely where it's at for anything going forward for me. I still enjoy the other forum, but here is where I will find what I need to know for the vehicle I currently have.

I will add though, you are al bad influences...... just bought a Mongoose.

I have been a member for a year.. give or take. Its been amazing to see the transformation of the forum. I have to lump myself in with someone that has learned a lot as well. This forum has given me a huge amount of knowledge. Im in a unique situation. My career revolves around this. So I have access and information that not many have outside ford employees.

Its been really nice to see everyone learn then take what they learn and pass it along. Anyone that can help does help and it takes the pressure off me. Iceman was the first pupil i would say that then led the FDRS revolution. I have to say thought Livnitup, Tonesto and Iceman are all extremely important to the role I play here.

I always say team because we are. Antho is also now apart of that team and is very helpful. So with 23 starting Im sure we will continue to learn and help others that buy these trucks. The hopelessness a lot of people feel when an issue arises and the dealer and Ford seems to be of no help and now they have a place they can come and know they are getting solid advice and help.

I know the cost of some of the tools is high but if you are going to own one of these trucks its a no brainer to me to have access. I know not everyone has the expendable income but you have to look at it as a tool. Which it is. The same tool dealers have. It also allows you to get more familiar and knowledgeable about your vehicle which is important.

Appreciate the kind words fellas. If I can contribute 1/8 of what these other guys have, then I would be happy and consider myself an effective contributor. I LOVE learning about the technical side of things and have actually learned a lot about reading wiring diagrams and schematics since being on here. I like looking at PTS for this. Now if I could just learn how to build my own harnesses, and how to effectively get Ford part numbers without calling the dealer, I'd be in great shape.

Back in October I updated to 22228 and lost cams in motion post update. I did as below and it corrected the issues. Page 504 post 7546

I had the same thing. Jesse suggested this change and it worked for me. All buttons now work as before. It adds the AUX camera to the view also.

Tried that too - no luck for me.

Have not seen any updates since Sept. On 3.5.2

VIN# 1FTFW1E55MFA80465

Would someone mind checking my VIN to see what updates are there? Planning to pull the trigger on the FDRS next week. Thanks!

Also, would a tune from Livernois (87-93 performance) interfere with any of the FDRS updates? Thinking of flashing back to stock to play it safe before FDRS updates.

Ford hasn't pushed anything beyond 3.5.2 for a couple of months now. While I don't have an active subscription I can almost guarantee you have an APIM update (or two) that will get you to full screen Carplay/AA
