2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet

I was digging through the easy mode APIM lists. There were a few things in there I would think SHOULD work. But didn’t. Am I doing something wrong?

mirrors tilt on reverse
Cameras on turn signal
Doors lock on exit
Phone as key

Non of these are hardware. I would have expected them to work. I did an APIM reset too.
Any thoughts?

Some of the APIM choices will not currently work on the F150 but may on other model Ford/Lincoln vehicles. Actually "Phone as a key" is hardware-related as it requires the RFA module and antennas that's in the Lightning/Mach-E but not in the regular F150. Simply getting a menu item to appear in your Sync screen settings/features doesn't mean it will be functional

Please keep in mind the connections are there but not the wiring harness. If you just purchase the WACM its not plug and play.

Also, if I remember correctly. I ran two WACM updates in forscan.

Thanks, I replaced the entire center console harness to get the connector to the rear heated seat switch and for the WACM. I’m deep in the process of converting my 501a into a 502a

Once you get the harness & WACM installed then connect to your truck in FORScan and click no when FORScan asks if you want to load your saved VIN profile - this will cause FORScan to search for the new WACM module. If FORScan finds the WACM then you can save this as your new profile that you use on subsequent connections to the truck. Then make the changes below to the WACM/APIM/BCM modules

Hopefully I'm not overlooking this...

Is there an edit we can make where the truck won't go into park if a door is opened? I often out of habit will open my driver door while reversing to watch for curbs, or, try to shift from park to drive when my door is still technically opened...I end up fighting the shifter button to move out of park.

I get this is safety...but I pay my taxes dammit

ForScan speedo question? I have a MY21 with the 20 inch wheels and MY22 with the 18 inch tires. I am going to switch them. Can i just use the stock tire value in the 21 and use it for the 22 and vice versa to get the speed correct? The tires have about an inch diameter difference.

Also how do you reset the pcm after the values are changed and saved? Thanks

I would think that they should be pretty close to the same if the tires are both stock sizes. If not then you would want to use the info from https://tiresize.com/calculator/ to get the diameter. Otherwise you should be able to just swap the entries in Forscan and then go into the Wrench section and look for the PCM module and reset it from there.

I think this has been asked before but I haven't seen it answered. I asked on another forum and so far haven't seen anyone else who has had this and resolved it.
I had done the FORscan mods for cameras at speed which had worked. Somewhere in doing FDRS updates, I lost the ability to switch the cameras. I get the rear view with the message that "Full view not available" and when I hard switch again, I goes back to the home screen with a message that some features are disabled for driver safety. I noticed that it didn't work at SYNC 22228 so I updated hoping that 22293 I could get it back. During that time I added some FORscan enabled features that I have since undone, hoping that resetting the values would help. With the messages that appear, I get the impression that Ford changed some things in the recent versions that disabled the ability to get cameras at speed and soft switch them. Has anyone else experienced this and found the way to resolve it? Any help appreciated.

I'm in the same boat. Used to work, then stopped working with newer Sync updates. I've asked a few places and no one has responded. Would be great to know if anyone has this working.

Also, which spreadsheet are you using for this reference? The one I'm using doesn't have those entries.

No luck. Still getting the same limited view when in motion. Oh well. Hopefully it gets sorted out. It was a nice feature.

Is there a way to download and look at your data offline? It would be nice to see something in the spreadsheet and open something and see what my value is without having to run out to the truck and get forscan all setup to check a value.
