has anyone noticed with the new APIM update and unreal enabled that the NAV defaults to 3D heading up? Every time I start the vehicle up I have to change it back to 2D North up.

not a huge deal just noting a possible bug

Also if you go to the audio settings the fade slider seems default off to the right passenger seat rather than in the middle. Not sure if this is affecting sound or just an off position due to the Unreal Rendering.

Mine isn’t working either but I haven’t attempted the TCU update yet.
My truck is fully updated now (other than the TCU update which just got assigned to it yesterday) and the sercurialert option shows up just fine for me, however I don't use it or have it enabled.

Aw, crap. I wish I hadn’t read this. It forced me to decide which alternative accommodated my OCD better: (1) sharper, better-rendered graphics that didn’t quite line up anymore (Unreal On); or (2) less sharp graphics that lined up correctly (Unreal Off). I ended up switching Unreal back off. At least for today. I think.

I can confirm that what you found was cosmetic only. If you ignore the background graphic and focus on the crosshairs, the set point is in the same place. It’s only the background graphic that moved relative to the crosshairs as a result of enabling Unreal. Switching it off causes everything to line up again.

Can someone with PTS please look at my VIN and let me know if DTC DSM 0422 was present on 10/12 to 10/13?” or if it started last day or so?

Truck was at dealer and had transfer case removed last week.
Sorry to ask here, only place that has it mentioned.

DSM DTC has been normal for anyone on AL update. I have it. Everyone that has a DSM I have seen it.

@Jesse-Infotainment

Do you recommend this change to the State of Charge (SOC) for our batteries from 80% to 95%?

Battery State of Charge Rate (SOC) 726-08-02
xxxx - xx05 - F0xxxx05 - F0xx=95% | xx05 - 00xx=80%(stock)

Thanks Jesse!

DSM is new, never had it until now. Its timing is in line with updating the BCM config for Bambi last night. Was ruling out it was not on the list of dealer caused items since they didnt clear it after the work last week, but I didnt snap the DTC list last night before clearing them ahead of making the Forescan changes (like a dumbass).

With the error appearing for the first time, around when the Forescan changes were mad to BCM, it seemed to make sense its related. The other changes for Ped Alert, fake engine noise, and seatbelt minder less so being ACM and IPC.

Probably should know this. AL Update? Auto something?

I have heard that it helps. @Tonesto has. He has said it has helped his voltage issues.

I don’t know the reasoning behind 80%. I can’t see it hurting anything.

I have made the suggestion to not to in the past BUT I also see where 80% is causing issues for those that do not drive regularly or often.

AL is the file name of the latest DSM update. That Dtc is in everyone’s truck it comes and goes you probably haven’t noticed I looked at your history and it was there before.

Yup that is why I was thinking of enabling it. I work from home and my truck doesn’t get driven daily.

Then in your situation I can see it being of benefit. Even for me it is a thought. I do drive daily but it’s a short trip.

Thanks for checking history. I mistakenly assumed DTC's persist for some time unless cleared, but if they come and go in shorter periods makes sense why I've never noticed it on the other handful of times I was in looking at something prior to dealer visit. Outside the expected HVAC popping right back, this is the first one to come right back after refreshing post clear.

Sounds like I have a new feature ;)
