ECU module programming guide using FDRS

Took the truck in for TSB 22-2117 this morning. Service advisor just called saying "yeah there some issues with OTA communication but we can't figure it out and are waiting on Ford"

Having another issue now.... so here is what I did from the beginning:

started at stuck 1.7.1, revision 144

1 - GWM - usb. success, horn/lights showed up in fordpass
2 - APIM - usb. success - sync revision went from 144 to 244. can schedule updates multiple days now
3 - TCU - usb. success, then fdrs stuck on final config step, but then fine
4 - GWM - failed right away (before usb etc). then the update disappeared... ? but all green, no DTCs, and everything else looking good, so continuing...
5 - DDM - no usb. success
6 - PDM - no usb. success

Now all I have is these 4 left and Download gives an error (also no modules listed as fully updated in the bottom right anymore?):

All my modules are green. My wifi is fine. Is FDRS down? Is something else broken on my end? Have restarted FDRS etc...

I’m getting the error trying to download as well. Seems the ford servers are down or having an issue.

I just got a login loop. Restarted FDRs and seemed to work. Downloading ok it seems

I just installed the APIM for 22028 358 and the GWM is installing now. At which update should I see BC stuff?

I know there are more after this GWM that will pop up, but seeing BC stuff show up will be a good status confirmation.

Yes downloads are back now thanks. GWM update is back now too.

But I get an error,

ignition on step it communicates fine, ignition off it gives a comm error

happens with either a GWM update or a config. have tried a dozen times. I'm still connected fine otherwise.

Thanks. Yep tried just leaving it on when it tells me off but same problem comm error

GWM update has dissapeared again so can't try again now. Something odd going on.

Sounds like it. I was doing something and was having the issue with downloading. Send me you vin and let me see if I can see the gateway update

I’m all out of updates. Currently at APIM 22034 354 and all modules green.

I did get a ford pass blue cruise active notification.

My Sync screen does not show any blue cruise information.

my driver assistance settings don’t show anything to enable blue cruise.
Any ideas?

I was having the same issue, I waited till the next day and it started working. I think your truck needs to report to the mother ship that it is good to go.
