XLT mirrors swap on STX

A coworker is giving me his mirrors off his XLT as he has added tow mirrors. From what I have read these should plug into my STX and will require forscan changes. Is there anything else I will need to do? Just looking to add blinker and puddle light functions. Thanks

My truck is a 2023 STX and the mirrors are off a 2023 XLT.

Was forscan required to use the turn signal and puddle light lamps? Im wanting to do the same on my 25 stx
