Halogen upgraded lights or led headlight upgrade on 2023 STX

2023 4x4 - here is what I'm thinking- driving at nite these days is a chore, and I believe LEDs would be a help seeing, BUT I have halogen bulbs in there now- I read that the LED upgrade is not all that great (because of the halogen housing), and I don't want to be blinding oncoming cars. I also hear like the Sylvania up graded bulbs don't last very long. Has anyone gone to LEDs and then NOT like them? I'm talking about the plug n play type LEDs. OR just stick with the OEM halogens.

It's NOT going to be cheap but it's a QUALTY KIT. if you want a plug and play headlight housing solution I'd highly recommend either the Morimoto XB or the Diode Dynmics Elite headilghts.

x2 on the aftermarket headlight upgrade! Upgraded my STX with halogens to Morimotos.

Don't put LEDs into halogen housings -- no company has put the R&D into them to be 1:1. The quad beam headlights are some of the best static LED factory assemblies there are. They need dedicated DRL wires run to the BCM for them to function as intended. If you find a set with fogs you'll get the trademark squared DRL look of this generation.

As for aftermarket static projectors, I can't comment on it. I did move from quadbeam to factory projectors w/ glare free and there is nothing on the market that can compare. They saved me from a half dozen deer last night at 70mph.

Here’s an option, for additional lighting when needed. If you outfit it with diode dynamics pods it can still be street legal!
