I called the service department today and the manager stated that they wouldn’t complete the repair unless there’s a leak. I called Ford and the rep stated that it’s a mandatory CSP and that they need to complete the repair. Ugh…

I don't think this is worth getting worked up over. Dealers are the same all over....

I'm doing exactly the same thing and just awaiting the part. My dealer gave me a loaner (25 XLT) while they had it which meant my truck was just sitting there doing nothing for nearly 2 weeks while they waited for the part. I prefer to use my own truck while waiting so swapped it back out and life goes on in the meantime....

When the part arrives I will go back.... no biggie...

My 2012 FX4 had the moon roof. Used it a few times on nice days...cool. Then a hailstorm came through one afternoon. I pulled under a bank atm roof just in time...huge golf ball sized hail pummeled everything around me! I breathed a sigh of relief at my good fortune as others that weren't so lucky got the crap beaten out of their cars. Just as I was thinking I dodged a bullet a huge gust of wind whipped through and tore off the large acrylic overhead light cover right above me and dropped it on my roof and then hood. Large dent in hood.....antenna bent to a 90 degree angle. I never thought to check the sunroof afterwards. After insurance adjuster came out a week or two later I realized it wouldn't open...cracking sound. I tried to get it covered but they refused saying they didn't think storm damage was cause. Very expensive to get repaired so I didn't use it anymore the rest of the time I owned truck. I had issues with it leaking a few times and had to clean out the drain tubes. All in all I am glad my new to me 2022 does not have a moon roof. The new pano ones seem very cool but I would be scared everytime I opened it...lol.
Good luck with the dealer....they can be a pain.

I know this wont help the OP, but in my experience, across multiple brands/dealers, both on the consumer side and the fleet side, there is 0 correlation between how good a dealership is at sales vs service. Literally every vehicle I purchase, both for fleet and consumer, I do NOT use the same dealership for service that I bought the vehicle from. On the fleet side I have a Ram and Ford dealership that share a parking lot as they are both owned by the same parent company. The Ford side was great at service, but sales got so bad that I started purchasing the Fords through the Ram sales rep. Parent company didnt want to lose the business, but for some reason couldnt get the Ford sales side to step up their game, so they actually allowed this request. This of course happened after they realized they were losing sales to a dealership 30 miles away.
