Will New tariffs effect my order ??

Two weeks ago, I ordered the F-150, RCSB, XL, 4x4, 5.0, V8, Antimatter blue with the 103A package.
The dealer gave me what I think was a fair price. I agreed to the quote. Electronically signed and gave a deposit.
I haven't received confirmation from Ford on the build acceptance.
Will the new tariffs effect my deal ? Can the price be increased or the order denied because of the tariffs ?

I’m in the same position. I image Ford can do what they want and we can only whine. I’m hoping that by the time mine gets made that there will be some nice incentives.

As long as your order was accepted by Ford, you should be good unless Ford decides to cancel orders. I have not heard of Ford changing the price once the order is accepted, but I have seen orders get cancelled by Ford.

Given the evolving nature of things I'd expect ford to honor the price and redress any grievances w/ the govt.

I sell commercial heavy-duty trucks and am told that the Mexico surcharges are being waived where-as Canada's will not be and to expect them to be real and instant very soon. With almost certainty, they will be here within 30 days, I'm told.

I would be a lot more concerned about the manufactured recession, rather than $3K added on to the price of your new truck.

Just the tariff threats have already shut off my very high incoming order count, nearly instantly. If it doesn't change and when it does arrive, if they represent more than about a 5% cost increase, I expect to lose about $100K this year as a result of the tariffs. Timing is impeccable as I'm going through a very expensive divorce to top it off.

Not sure what would make anybody think that Ford or the dealership is going to eat this money. It's just a tax on the American consumer, nothing else and we'll be paying it. The lower the income bracket that you are in, the higher percent of your money that will go towards tariffs.

I guess it could be worse, we could be Ukrainian.

In Texas it's rare that anyone can get spousal support. YTBD, but even when they do, it's like 6 months max. Wish me luck!

My order and deposit were accepted by the dealership. I haven't received confirmation of acceptance from Ford.

I'm in a similar boat. Order was accepted but no VIN assigned yet.

If Ford changes the price, I would probably just cancel the order.

Worst case scenario, you'll receive a cargo container box with the following materials: One truck frame, 4 alloy wheels, 4 tires, a few sheets of aluminum and steel tubing, one engine crate, one trans. a 200LB sack of nuts/bolts/tap screws, a few boxed ECUs, one large box with random wire harnesses, box with lighting enclosures, another extra large box full of interior parts and a one 1500 Page assembly manual.
