sounds like they are looking to add revenue by soliciting maintenance work. Yes it is a known issue, yes, it is something that needs to be taken care of.Had a dealer call me and say there is a known issue with my truck (21 2.7xlt) that they won't be issuing a recall for. He said that they are reaching out to their customers to get them in for the work before the 5yr/60k is up. Either this is a monumental improvement in customer service or there is some incentive for them to do this. What am I missing? Any thoughts?
I don’t understand why you’re so cynical about the dealer contacting you in my opinion is what a good dealer should be doing
