What psi should I run ??

BF GOODRICH KO3 295/70/18 how much psi should I be running for daily driver?

I called BFGoodrich and they could not give me an answer because they said there’s no charts out for this tire

Max inflation is on sidewalls equals
Rough ride empty.
Ideal psi on any tire for the load at the time, is one that nets a flat contact patch across the tread front inside sidewall to across to outside sidewall
Thst gives best life , traction, etc
Tske chalk and chalk the tread about 1/3rd of circumference
Then roll truck on smooth surface like your garage floor
Then look at the chalk print
It shoukd be a mirror image of tread. With slight lift at edges, no light spots in center

That's the gauge
Then see what psi is
If truck is empty in bed,
You coukd lower that psi 2 or 3 to help the ride...empty
It's a lot, and if you change weight ofvtruck....then contact patch changes
A faster less accurate
Lay a steel ruler across tread from sidewall to sidewall and see if it's evenly touched
I run 34 in front
31 in rears on stock oem tires
Bf good rich somewhere on thier website will have pressure vs weight

You can see what tire carry capacity is
Example 2k lbs
At say 40 psi
So if tire is carrying 1200 lbs..try 35 to start.

I run 34" E rated LT tires (Falken Wildpeak AT3W's) on my truck and I've found the 40-42 psi range (cold) to work best for me in terms of meeting load requirements and keeping my teeth in place. I'm on 20's though, so your results may vary on 18's.

Unless you're carrying a heavy load, you need to be thinking of tire wear. Once you get the front tires dialed in, I've found the rear tires (near empty box) to be around 4-5 psi below the front tires.

I would start with 37 front and 34 rear, cold
With that pressures set, I would do the chalk test and see what the tread tells you

Light vehicles it's mostly seat of pants
80 psi is harsh empty
My 21 f250 had 80
I ran 68up front and 50 I. Rears empty

It's friday...figured I would have a bit of ? fun

lol thanks I also found a YouTube video about doing the chalk test so I think I will start around 45 psi mark the tire with the truck and see how it wears and go from there. Thanks everybody for their help excited to get my new 34s installed and my leveling kit

Best to start out with the Ford recommended tire pressure. Tire company charts are worthless and so far off the mark as to be unsafe.

These are LT tires and are unsafe to run at suggested pressures

39 psi will put you at the same load carrying capacity of the OEM tires.

Follow the link and put in your OEM tires specs, then the new tire specs. This will give you a good starting point. Then adjust as needed from there.
