Again, reading into something not there. My tires say 80psi.
You won't commit to much will you. And you seem to have a preponderance towards gaslighting.

What do you run your tires at?

And my apologies. I assumed you still had your factory tires installed since you mentioned the 51psi written on those old tires.

The issue with Firestone tires wasn't solely due to tire inflation and heat. Multiple experts have weighed in over the years and pressure/heat was only identified as one factor amongst many. Certainly, Ford Explorers didn't come with LT tires and the design of the Firestone tires was a big part of the problem. Using this example to justify using higher pressures on LT tires doesn't make sense.
Recommended PSI on those Explorers was 26. The average consumer doesn't check their air pressure, ever. This was before TPMS was widespread. If a tire didn't look obviously flat, then it surely must be fine, load up the kids, hook up the boat, let's go.

26PSI quickly drops to 20 or lower due to temperature or lack of maintenance.

Interstate speeds at 20PSI - BOOM.

Many factors, sure, but the ridiculously low tire pressure recommendation is the main root cause.
