The only thing I turned off that I remember was the rear seat occupant reminder and the rear brake assist.
The rear seat occupant alert even comes on when the seats are folded up which I think is kinda stupid. The rear brake assist could cause you to go to the chiropractor after snapping your neck when backing into your garage. This caused both of the features to be disabled.

I am torn about the auto wipers. I really want those to work but I want them to stop wiping my windshield every time I start the truck. Moreover, stop wiping the windshield when starting the truck on a dry, 90 degree day. If anyone knows how to keep the auto wipers on and disable that one, single stupid wipe, that would be great.
EDIT: I am currently playing with the different settings outlined on page 142 and 143 of the Owners Manual. I am hoping that this random wipe at startup is caused by me having it placed in an incorrect setting or setting that is too sensitive.

As for the "courtesy wipe", I keep that on because I see value after using the windshield washer. According to page 144 of my owners manual:
"SWITCHING THE COURTESY WIPE ON AND OFF
1. Press Settings on the touchscreen.
2. Press Vehicle Settings.
3. Press Wipers.
4. Switch Courtesy Wipe on or off.
Note: When you switch the feature on, the
wipers make an additional single wipe at
the end of the washer request. When you
switch it off, the wipers finish the current
washer request."

I turned off the auto high beams, rain sensing wipers and the lane keep assist. The lane keep assist kept giving me the notification to put my hands on the steering wheel…when my hands were on the steering wheel. I’m not a huge fan of the adaptive cruise control but I don’t use it much so I’ve left that on.
I have kids so the rear seat occupancy and seatbelts chime stays on

That lane keep assist thing. Hate it.
Disabled it day 1.
I kept mine on but I will frequently turn it off cause I live in the prairies, and we have a LOT of highways that are dead straight for hundreds of km. "KEEP HANDS ON STEERING WHEEL" "TAKE CONTROL NOW"

I don't know what Ford did differently in the gen 14s but my 2016's LKA was FAR better. It recognized lane markings and road edges much better than my 23 does, and worse yet I find that often my 23 will freak out at things like intersections and veer slightly when it loses the lines. Worst of all, I was on the highway at night and when approaching an intersection with a right turn lane, the truck would follow the damn TURN LANE and nearly put me into the ditch at 70 MPH!

1. Auto hold
2 Rear seat warning
3. Collision warning(In town my truck likes to brake even after a car has completed a turn, too sensitive).
4 Welcome lighting.(I hate when it keeps activating everytime I get near it working in the yard, ect.)

I have to admit I'm very surprised at the responses here, I absolutely LOVE the features y'all are turning off.

Rain sensing wipers - my only complaint is they are not sensitive enough sometimes. I usually leave them in the most sensitive position (right before low setting).

Auto highbeams - I enabled Glare-Free on my truck (should have been enabled by default since I'm in Canada...) but I had auto highbeams on my 16 and I was VERY impressed with how well they worked! They picked up opposing headlights and upcoming tail lights incredibly well, the only time they didn't work well was in snowstorms.

Auto stop-start - I thought I'd hate it too, but after using it I think it's awesome. I have DEFINITELY noticed the difference it makes on my mileage since I am 95% a city driver.

Auto-hold - one of my new favorite features. I'll get into someone else's vehicle and find myself jamming the brake at intersections expecting I can let my foot off of it. ? I don't know why people would find it lurchy unless you're hammering the gas, I can tap it gently and it will come off. Seriously this is a great feature for those long intersection waits.

Adaptive cruise - I'm sorry but this is the best thing invented for vehicles since the seat belt. Not having to constantly adjust cruise or brake and cancel is amazing, and with the new Traffic Jam Assist feature Ford has it has taken sooooo much anxiety out of rush hour driving for me. Seriously if you have TJA and haven't used it, try it. Just remember to hit the cruise resume button when it says "Stopped" on the IPC and traffic gets moving again. It's damn near close to auto-drive.

But yeah I also turned off the rear seat reminder and courtesy wipe, the latter cause I find it would frequently just streak the windshield, and there I go spraying it again cause my OCD can't stand a single speck on the glass LOL.

Auto high beam, auto wipers, courtesy wipe, reverse braking assist, child reminder.
I like the auto brake hold personally. I just give a quick on off tap of the accelerator to release the brake hold, then accelerate normally. I also use auto lane keeping on long highway drives.

Will trigger from shrubs near by or anything of insignificance. Slams the brakes hard. Total pain in the ass.

These two. #4 for the same reason. The truck would welcome me every time I left the house to do yard work or whatever outside. I wish you could set a location to enable/disable certain features like this.

I wish I could disable ambient lighting but after one of the OTA updates the shit just enables itself Everytime I turn the truck on.

Only thing I turned off on the trip home was the lane keeping.. got sick of the inputs from the steering wheel especially when the road was narrowing...

Not sure if you have HUD but I messed around with it a bit to get it where and what I wanted...

Having two keys with me meant I had to wait until I got home to program my personal settings but it wasn't a biggie... once home I deactivated the Ford connectivity, courtesy lighting and haven't changed much else.

Tried out the Bluecruise and it's not for me.... can't wait for the "bluecruise available" alerts to desist...

Can you turn off the power tailgate drop...I'd rather drop it with touch of the button at the gate only.

My issue with Auto Hold is there are plenty of times I want to creep forward using zero throttle. Like in stop and go traffic. In this situation I only need to apply the brake. With AH I'd have to touch the throttle every time AND then apply the brake. I guess I'm super sensitive to it, but initiating forward movement with AH on ALWAYS feels like a mini brake torque no matter how light of a touch I use. Never mind the jolt you get at high idle when the truck is still cold! I've never found holding the brake to be tiring even at long stop lights.

Haven't had this experience at all, I drive to and from sites through the city, so tons of lights all week long. Do you have the Auto Start/Stop feature?
