Drove past the plant on my way home from the CLE airport to Akron on Monday. They still make all the 3.5 EB there, I think.Drove to Cleveland today and drove past this...
I believe this is where the well known 3.5L #448AA was manufactured. This engine and the documented torture test series with Mike Rowe is what sold me on the engine. Wish Ford had done a similar marketing campaign with the PB.

Ford definitely did a good job with that campaign. Piqued my interest enough to go test drive one in 2011 as soon as they hit the lot. I initially wanted to also drive a 5.0 to compare but the 3.5 impressed me so much I was signing the paperwork before I knew what happened, lol.Drove to Cleveland today and drove past this...
