I end up in the over 80 category many times on various road conditions and have never experienced any vibrations. This truck is so smooth that I am forced to use cruise to keep speeds at a reasonable level!

I get this over 80, too. Just attributed it to the crappy Hankooks I plan on replacing this year.

But that air dam comment has me intrigued.
You replace your tires yet? If so, did it resolve the shimmy/shake/etc..??

I had this exact issue. The drive shaft threw a weight making it off balance. I would get a vibration at 135 km/hr (80mph). Usually wheel/tire vibrations are felt between 80-120km/hr (50-75mph). Ford replaced the drive shaft under warranty and the vibration is gone.

I haven't. I'm waiting until Spring when I put the Shelby wheels on and will get new tires then.

Any update on how the Shelby rims and new tires are? I have Shelby 20” rims and have been chasing a shake also. Above 75 both the steering wheel and seats shake. Had stock sized Nokian Outpost nAT. Figured maybe because they were all terrain tires they were causing the shake (even though they road force balanced perfectly) Dropped another grand on some stock sized Michelin Defender LTX that road force balanced perfectly also hoping it’d fix the issue — but nope the shake/vibration is still there above 75. Thinking there’s something wrong with my Shelby rims now. It’s driving me completely nuts.

and I run 18” OE rims and studded winter tires in the winter and it’s smooth right up to the limiter. So my issue is definitely a rim issue I think (now).

Well that's not good. You pretty much narrowed it down to the Shelbys. Where did you get the wheels from?

I haven't put mine on yet. Still need to order tires due to diverting funds to house projects. Hopefully mine will be okay.

I got mine from Realtruck but they shipped directly from Holley. I’m outside of the 1 year warranty too.

Absolutely. Thank you for your help.

To put it simply, and just in my experience of working on cars, it definitely feels like a tire imbalance issue. However dealer said, they balanced and checked tires.

Once you hit 80mph the entire truck starts to vibrate. I think, it is from the back of the truck. It might be the 1 tire they did not change which did not fail road force testing OR thats just my mind tricking me into that since the dealer told me they swapped 3 of 4 tires.

You hit 80 it starts, feels like tire imbalance vibration. Entire truck shakes. Theres no shaking in the steering wheel like a tie rod issue. Vibration happens when accelerating or not accelerating.

It is only in the 80-90 mpg range. I haven't gone above 90 to test that.

It is extremely annoying bc i do tend to drive 80 to 85 regularly.
BRO!!! I have a 2023 Lariat, short box, ecoBoost. I have that same shimmie/shimmy/shake/vibration/etc.... I noticed it the day I drove it home from the lot. I took it back to the dealer the next day only 60 miles on it. They road force balanced it and sent me on my way. Took it back again around 300 miles on the odometer and they did the same thing and again it was not fixed. I took it to another dealer 550 miles away and they replaced two of the four tires but the Shaking was STILL THERE!!! I have taken this truck to three different dealers and they all road force balance, rotate tires and send me on my way. My truck still shakes!! I have way more trips to the dealers that I haven't mentioned but you get it. The magic number is 83 mph. The speed limit where I live is 80 mph. This is extremely frustrating and why does it always shake in my seat and in the rear of the vehicle!!! If it were the tires at some point when the bad tire(s) got to the front from rotating the front would shake, the front has never shaken! It's not the tires. Something is wrong with the rear end and no one has done what it takes to get it fixed!! I did not pay $80k and $1,250 a month for a subpar truck that shakes when it should be smooth as a hot knife cutting through warm butter! BTW, all my exclamation points are me yelling at all these dealers and Ford not you. lol

When driving 80-90 mpg the entire truck shakes. Brought to dealer and they changed 3 of the 4 tires since 3 of them failed road force. Vibration still exists after tires were replaced.

Going to bring back to dealer however wanted to see if anyone else had this issue.

I had a similar issue with an AWD 2012 Volvo wagon years back. Everyone kept looking at the tires but it never went away. They even replaced the automatic transmission. Turns out issue was my rear axles but it took a lot of trips to the dealer to get there.

I have had an import 4x4 in the mid 80S that had this problem I replaced “u”-joints in it every 5k miles. Then I damaged the drive line while off roading and replaced it. I thought that that was going to stop the vibration “assumed drive line was out of balance” new one was balanced and still vibration at 60miles per hour. I got it on a rack and started checking everything. I put a dial indicator on the shaft by the rear yolk out of the third member and found the yolk was drilled of center about .025” this was with 75k miles of aggravation. The new yolk fixed it. The point is drivelines, yolks or flanges all have to be true or you can get the type of vibration you are talking about. Good luck

Did any of you experiencing this issue get it resolved?

I just picked up a '25 RCSB 4X4 and drove it home from Texas with the rear shaking from about 75mph-82mph. Took it to dealer and of course "we cant test for speeds over 70mph" was the comment I received. They did however rebalance all 4 wheels (and scratch each rim in the process of removing the wheel lip weights!), on the drive home the shake was still there at 80mph. Very frustrating with a new truck, and one I never experienced with all the other new F150s before.

I have not. I actually refuse to bring the truck to a dealer for this because of what I KNOW they will say.

"It's the tires"

It's not consistent, it has nothing to do with rims (two diff sets), tires (two diff brands), or tire position. It's either rear axle related (most likely) or transmission related. At this point I'll wait for something to break before I let them keep my truck for weeks with no resolution.

I didn't even think about not testing the truck above posted speed limits (mostly 55 mph in my idiotic area).
